Hey Taka,
What are the RE55's like on the street? ie. should they be used on the street? Or are they too much overkill?
For those who know toyo the other alternative is Toyo RA1's as opposed to the R888's
BTW: TE37's are classic and look great!

Great wheels taka love them, really set off the tyres. The one's i have on my car at the moment are sorta similar but not as nice as yours!!
WD swears by Toyo's, I have to agree as my bridgies suck for noise. I called my dealer and he said, yes we have heard your complaint about noise before but it;s a fine line btw performance and noise. Mazda picked the best tyre for the 8!! I begged to differ...what do you guys reckon....?
Back onto the wheels though if I had the $$ I would change too!

RE55S are suck for street - it is 10x as noisy as your RE040 Julia. And they pick up stone like chewing gum on dirt. They are my track rubber.
I think Potenza's RE-01Rs are the top class sports radial they have. I can have those for the road and twisties.
