Where are the Crystal White RX-8's?

Does anyone know where in Melbourne I can clamp my glazzies onto a Crystal White RX-8?

I'm interested in buying one but I need to see one in full sunlight before I commit. Mazda Australia have confirmed that there is only one in stock Australia-wide (it's in Western Australia), so I can't go cruizing the yards to check one out.

Cheers

Really?

Ray from Head Office lied to me then! If I can't find one closer I might fly up next week to look at it. I don't want a sunroof, but at least I'll be able to see the color on the car.

It might not be such a bad idea to check it out...

Michael will make sure it wouldn't be the only other thing he could go and see....

Checking out the RX8 takes 10 minutes you could bring Taka with you , plenty of time for bird watching ,Bars beaches , babes .... Trevor and few of the Brisbane guys could come and make sure you both have a memorable stay .

Hey Gomez.

I had a similar issue 2-3 weeks ago with wanting to see a white RX8 before I would order it. Couldn;t find one anywhere. Then out of the blue I saw a second hand one advertised at a local BRisbane dealership. I rushed over to see it and thought 'yeah, not bad. But not worth a 3 month wait probably". Anyway, personal taste.

Like you I suspect, I like that the white colour is rare, since the shape is a bit old now.

Anyway, last Friday I did the deal on a new black car (see my new thread). Then, would you believe that as I drove back to my work, I saw a new white RX8 parked downstairs in our shared office carpark!!! crazy huh? I beieve it;s owned by the receptionist girl at Lexus (must get paid well!) It has a sunroof and looked pretty hot.

If you get stuck for an example to see first hand, let me know. She parks it here every day. I'm in Fortitude Valley...inner city Brisbane (2klm from the city heart).

Thanks madkeen, I'll keep you in mind if push comes to shove.

I'm not big on white because it's rare....I'm just big on white!! It's odd, because I would never buy a white Falcon, but the RX-8 looks great in white (in pictures at least).

This is the first shot I ever saw of a white one. It's a good pic, IMO. This is Whitewater Pearl (Snowflake White Pearl).

Notice the all-black mirrors in the above pic....I doubt the Oz cars would have black mirrors.

I really like the white (and that burnt red colour that was available for a while) but the longer I live with Ti, the more I like it. Has a classy understated look that avoids the car looking too boy racer, no matter what you change on it.

I found a Crystal White CX-7 and had a good look over it in full sunshine the other day. It's a very nice colour, suits the curves on the CX-7 nicely.

Still haven't seen a white RX-8, but I'm happy with the colour on the CX-7.

It's slightly different to Snowflake White (which is no longer available). BTW, the salesman I spoke to told me Winning Blue is likely to be the next colour dropped. That's a shame, because I think it's the pick of the three blues on the palette.

I'm going in to talk turkey in the middle of next week....

Engine check light on 2003 RX8 F6

i am driving a 2003 Rx8 F6 and since last two weeks i have a constant engine check light illumination with little rattling under 2000RPM. Can anyone confirm if this problem can be solved by replacing the oxygen sensor?

Snowflake White is a little creamier. Crystal White is a pretty sharp white.

I prefer Snowflake White, actually.

I don't discriminate....you too can use the search button.

That's quite the sense of humour you've got there.
