the timing devices are called AMB transmitter.... we can hire it for $15 dollar each car.... and no, it will not change the insurance policy for non-competition trackday.... we're allowed to have it....

secondly, the insurance from AASA are included in the track hire.... but to qualify each car have to pay $45 for AASA licence which valid for 12 months and can be used on several track in victoria including calder....

she said 20th of feb is not available anymore... you can double check.... heather said some club book it....
OK, If heather is back then I will call her tomorrow and try for the 20th Feb, if it isnt me then I will go for 20th Mar, if thats out 21st Feb, 21 mar.

Which means I need to put a deposit down. Which means I want people to give me track numbers that that agree for the day.

Also, for those that wanted an instructor for the day, are you still interested without one.

Regards

Andrew

Andrew, my friend Stephen (with a DC5 that I raced with in the video) would like to come too.

Any of those dates are fine for me. And I am happy whether there are instructors or not.

Thank you Andrew for organising this.

Any of those dates are fine and as long as the track is there then I am there

The extra's such as instructors etc are of no concern and do not have any influence on my attending!

I just want track time

As Auzoom has taken upon himself to organise this and will also have to put down the deposit for the track I plan on paying a couple dollars extra for my part.

I was thinking $10.00 on top of the cost and want to know if some of you other guys will do the same. This way Auzoom gets his day for around 1/2 price and shows a gesture of thanks from us for his doing this. Remember he is sticking his neck out for his part of all this and showing some trust in all of us to hold to our words!

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the sentiment but really its not needed. I am just shitting myself as that is a busy time for me at work and I am hoping I dont get called away.

Anyway, as Taka said, I have confirmed the date of the 20th of March (What day is that Taka?).

I am also going to cap the list at 20. At this point we have 12 8's so that leaves you 8 places to fill flameboy. I have agreement from Heather (Winton) that no money is needed until I get back so dont worry for the moment.

Can I please get confirmation or otherwise from each of you that you are fine with no instructor.

Andrew
