The way my Friday night is shaping up, I'll be battling to walk, talk or see on Saturday morning, so you'll have to get deflowered by others.

Yes, I'm still coming but please, no sudden movements...

Actually, I really am committed to a cause - which is why Friday will be big.

I'm the co-ordinator for this - http://www.projectbeetlewalk.com/

All donations welcome Trev.

And the recipient even lives in your neck of the woods these days...(yes, we give him heaps about that ).

We should have 500 people there tonight! Can't wait...

BTW - my car is filthy!!! Nobody better have clean cars tomorrow or I'm going to be pissed...

Waldo lots of pics mate...well done. You've done good job pulling this together, I'll make sure I coordinate my next trip south with one of your future cruises.

Hahaha, that polar bear looks a lot healthier than I did on Sat morning!

Massive night at the fund raiser (raised heaps!!) and got woken by a freaking text message way too early!! Still, gave me time to take the beast to one of those carwash cafes .

Gorgeous sunny day. 12 cars in total, so there where a few mysterious no-shows (Brigi! Mike! ). Easy drive down to Woronora Dam, so we could check on your water supply . Then a cruise down the freeway to Kiama and another stroll for fish and chips (Matt bought the shop!). Feeling way too full we then parted company for the drive back home. Sounds simple and it was - a good way to waste a Saturday and nice to see old faces and new as usual.

Tuan, don't be a stranger mate and look forward to seeing you all on the next one.

Big thanks to Waldo for his usual enthusiastic organisational skills. The grumpy cruise director may make another appearance soon...

Much appreciated for organising yet another great cruise Waldo. Great to meet some new members and as usual, great to catch up with the regulars.

I will dearly miss the 8, having the opportunity to own an rx8 as my first car has been well worth the experience. It was my daily driver, yet for the 4.5 yrs of ownership not once did I hop in and feel any less special than on day one. The forum that came along with it taught me countless lessons and introduced me to some great people that you could only dream of meeting on forums elsewhere.

I definitely will still be lurking these forums and try to make the odd cruises.

I'll try to get Armand to post up the photos later tonight as he's busy with another photography gig today.

Hi All ,

As per usual the day started nice an early for me, getting my car washed and ready for the cruise...The weather was looking awsum, after rain all nite, I was very pleased ...

Although I almost thought I wasn't going to make it , as 5mins from the meet point my coolant light came on(getting it checked on Wednesday ). It turned off upon entry into the servo(that would be rite i know), although I was thinking more about how embarrassing that could of been .... I checked the levels, comparing it to Nick's 8 and it looked fine, so i bought some coolant just in case...

Anway me and nick were there first to arrive, and then the RX8's, started rolling in.. We sort of took over the petrol station, with a RX8 Fine arts exhibition ... The total Rx8 count was 12 for the day, a little down due to late exclusions, but rest assured it was still quite a sight to behold ...

Upon our exit we were off to Woronora Dam, that allowed us to take some pix and also stretch the legs... And also see one of our state dams, looking pretty full, apparently 7metres from being full(quite an impressive sight, 15 billion litres is full by the way )...

We then set off, for our main destination Kiama's Blowhole/Lighthouse...We arrived just @ lunch time, for some fish and chips and a chance to catch up with the members and as always some more photo opportunities...Some people departed after lunch but there was 5 8's who travelled back home together...

My apologies once again, to those that were following me as we were suppose to go thru the national park on our return home, but i missed the turnoff ...Although probably a lucky thing, because as we were getting to Bulli tops, the coolant light came on again (although it got me and the rest home safely)....

The colours on displayed on the day were BB/SB/VR/TS/WB, and fitzy u gotta tell me ur colour, is it Galaxy grey?? ...And one 8 with two rear baby seats, who said our 8's are not family vehilces ...All up a great day for those who attended, and those who witnessed it too ....

Thankyou very much to all the members/families/friends who attended, u guys made it the great day it was ... Also special thanks to Armand, our resident photographer, can't wait to see the other pixs mate, glad u made it buddy....Also thanks to Tuan, for making a final cruise appearance, u will be missed mate, but u will make other appearances again im sure...OOoh and thankyou to Nick, for travelling from Canberra for this event, top stuff once again mate. Also final thanks to Dave, it was a loong nite and day for u mate, im sure u were glad it was sunday the next day hehehe....

Now that ends my essay style review ....If you are not a member of the .com.au forum please post any piks u have here. And if not, please post all piks in the below link on the .com.au forum for all to view. I will post my piks, as soon as they are edited, over the next few days.

https://www.rx8club.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4383

Hope to see you all, on the next RX8 Cruise .

Cheers,
Waldo - ZZOOM - ZOOMBY

Looks like you guys had a great time...some nice looking 8's there..

Have any or ALL (that would be wishful thinking) sent your letter off to
Mazda Australia for an extended or extra engine warranty like the US Guys have..

There is a letter already for you to cut and paste, just amend between the ( ....),
https://www.rx8club.com/australia-new-zealand-forum-37/plan-b-calling-all-aust-rx-8-owners-wanting-engine-warranty-148312/

Come on it will take 5 minutes of your time...

If someone wants to find out where you live, they can make any reason to get your details through RTA/QT/VicRoads. On top of that if you're prone to brag about your mods, it wouldn't be hard for Mazda to cross reference and declare your warranty void...

Mazda reckon they don't care about the mods, they just don't cover them if they break? Also, my car may or may not live where the rta and my license say it does..

Thanks officer but:

1. thieves would have a bastard of a time extracting my car from where it is garaged;

2. it's insured; and

3. I'm out of warranty (so I don't give a flying **** what the ********* at Mazda think of my mods).
