Hi all, selling my weekend driver 2004 6 speed MT RX8.
91XXX on the clock, all recalls have been completed and documented.
Paranoid owner, oil always topped up and heat kept in range, serviced regularly but luckily not babied, got to keep the redlines up to keep away the carbon!
Due to the nature of Australian housing, she was parked outside quite often, resulting in some nasty clearcoat UV damage which greatly tanked the overall worth of the car.
However, the interior remains fine, with all the trim being fresh and scratch free, and seats nice and proper.
The car never had issues starting hot nor cold, but is equipped with a 2KW starter motor that is must-have in all S1 RX8s.
The car had been compression tested in April by Roland from Unigroup, and is filled up with premixed BP Ultimate, as well as 10w-30 idemitsu oil.
The compression is as follows.
(cranking at 285rpm and already normalised)
Front Rotor
I. 108psi
II. 112psi
III.106psi
Rear Rotor
I. 104psi
II. 106psi
III.102psi
The car pulls hard all the way to 10000 RPM without any hesitation.
It had also had numerous 'reliability' mods installed to it. (as many would call it, the engine is truly reliable if the owner is taking proper care of it.)
XForce 3 inch catback exhaust
Fan control upgrade kit
Bosch ignition system with NGK 8mm spark leads
AEM cold air intake
A silicone hose kit radiator and air (since i took a look inside one of the hoses whilst doing a coolant flush, and noticed how disgusting they looked from the inside.)
and 4x Defy C2 gauges (water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and voltage)
(receipts available for majority of the items.)
There were also many things changed as part of normal preventative maintenance such as pulley belts, sway bar links and CV boots. All of these changes were done by a licensed mechanic of course.
Oil changes have been done every 3500kms with the oil filter changed as well.
Log book complete with all previous services and labor.
