Hi All:
I have just uploaded to my good buddy Sputnick some interior stuff so watch a little later tonight. It's 6:25PM local time here ansd time for a pint. The quality is not great because I only had two minutes in the car. Tomorrow's pictures will hopefully be better but at least you'll see some new stuff, LIKE THE PASS-THROUGH.
later...

:D and a well-deserved pint, if you ask me. if i ever have the pleasure of meeting you sir, the jug is on me.
ANYTHING on the interior would be magnificent... most of the mag pics we've been getting only give it lip service (pictorially speaking...), as you well know...

I just got off the phone with Boowana, and he said that the Interior pics were quite poor, and he will hold off on sending those. Instead, he has been given clearance by the Mazda folks to have absolutely free range over the car in better lighting, and have better time, after the launch.
Other info that he passed on:
-He should be phoning with definite pricing details and some other info around 08:30 CST.
-He should be able to talk with a high-up mucky-muck (name witheld) soon after the launch.
-The radio appears to be very similar to the Mazda 6.
-The sunroof looks like the same unit included with the Mazda 6.
-The steering wheel buttons are very similar to the Mazda 6.
-The pop-out windows are manual, not powered (but I'm sure that some of us will be able to retro-fit power units from vehicles with similar windows).
-The buttons behind the stick shift are indeed seat heater switches.
-The seatbelts are mounted on the door. They include an "ingenious" setup for rolling the belt out of the way of the rear passenger as the rear doors open.
-And last but not least, Navigation is a definite for North America (no word on 3D or the like), but be cautioned that it will probably not be in the first batch(es) of cars.
---jps
P.S. BTW, he met up with Jay Leno up there (like he mentioned elsewhere on this forum). Turns out, Jay Leno owns a pair of Miatas, and is anxiously awaiting a chance to try out an RX8.

What more do we know now that we didn't last week/month? Want brochure like information please. I order tomorrow and want to know more now. With over 100 people on this site, I think we all want more information.
