Sunday Afternoon pics - Awesome!

As seen in the sticky above;

http://www.rx8forum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1572

This is the exact config that I would like for my RX-8, Titanium, Stick, Moonroof. Will head to Detroit from Cleveland next weekend to check this car out.

Question; will they have any on the floor that we will be able to sit in?

SEATBELTS!

I thought the front seatbelts were meant to be integrated with the seat (like some convertibles), not hanging clumsily off the rear doors.

I thought so too, Pelucidor...

I believe that you will be able to sit in the car after the announcement.

Boowana mentioned that there would be three cars. I don't know if that means three RX8s, or if that includes other "unveilees".

EDIT: There will be three RX8s, we're only seeing one of them.

That interior color is absolutely hideous. I mean, it's not even tan, it's orange! I didn't think that it was possible to make a tan interior that was worse than the FD's tan interior, but Mazda managed to top themselves in that regard.

Digital cameras, especially photos taken under artificial light are notoriously bad at hue shifting. I would not make a final judgement on a color until I see it with my own eyes, outside on a bright sunny day.

I agree on the color from digital camera's. The brown is really the color of a football, not orange. It is the same color combination as the 2002 SE Ti Miata from last year. Once seen in person it is fantastic.

In the picture below, I'm sure that's a yellow one to the right and behind -- you can see the front fender flare through the silver's rear window. Looks like maybe a black one to the left and behind? Not sure on that one - not enough showing.

Edit: Nevermind...I can see now that they are both Mazda6's. I'm such an idiot! DOH!

Another thing that I really love about the car is the rear, center brake light. That they retained the same exact light as on the RX-7 really makes me grin.

I think the other part of the problem is that not many people have accurate and properly adjusted/calibrated monitors. Not to say mine is all that great (it isn't).

That said I don't see the appeal to that interior color scheme in any lighting.

Wow, it looks great in these pictures. This is really reassuring, my initial impression of the X-Men version wasn't nearly as favorable. I really like the titanium, reminds me of my old first-generation Eclipse GSX.

Correction;

The brown seat inserts are NOT those from the Ti Miata, the Miata seats are MUCH better in color. I retract my statement in that I like the brown. Actually I didn't even like the leather much, but the black cloth is VERY NICE.
