Great work Lawyer's Spirit!! I checked out the RX-7 club thread and they seem really pumped too which is great. I'll get my proposed logo, business card and new member card idea refined and printed out to bring to the meet. If we can get others with ideas to do the same we can try and get a vote going. Of course we should put the samples up on the boards for voting too for those that won't be able to make it.

Do it on the Sunday .. Fewer people work that day. Do it at 1:00pm. Travellers will have time to get home. Do it a Canada's Wonderland parking lot. Should be empty. Is it open though ? Good place for a Pic ? Go to D & Bs after. Lots of room there. Women and children issues holding you back ? Drop them off at the Vaughan Mills Mall ... Everybody's Happy

The sooner we pick a day, place and time the more Family we will have there ... Lawyer .. Make an executive decission and lets Just Do IT !! I'm planning on putting together a group drive in from Hamilton, Halton and Niagara ... (HH&N) 
Hobbes ... forget about the comic books ... this meet will give you more real life excitement, colour and laughs than any comic book could ... More importantly ... Bring some copies of your RX8 card as I really like it and then there's the fact that I have never ever seen other paddles and you can take some of the heat I always get ..

Um, Mic...I haven't design a biz card as of yet. A mock up of a logo yup. Helas did one though. As for the comic Con, no worries. If we meet in the down town area then I'll probably check it out, if not, no sweat. Paddles? * cough* Ferrari * cough* :p

This is our first meet and therefore a meet and greet type event with a photo opportunity. The main goal being to gauge participation and get a planning team together. There was less resistance to the Sunday date, which is the reason for the change. The location was chosen since it would make a good place for bi-weekly type meets since there are many entertainment/dining facilities on hand.
A proposed club agenda for the season and club constitution are in the drafting process and will be posted about a week before the event.
I look forward to meeting you all and developing a strong club together.

looks like i got my dates wrong. Im racing on the 24th. I wont be able to attend. I'll pass by on my way home, but it won't be until about 6ish. Anyone planning on hanging out that long?

Do you have a jpeg or something of what it is you're looking for? Is it like the rotary symbol on my biz card? or like the rotor in the back ground? other? If you give me some sort of visual I can see what I can find.
