It's almost time for the 6th (!!) annual Ottawa Meet! There's going to be many changes this year... In an effort to avoid the rain, we're going to be holding the meet a week later than usual. Also, sunday will feature an ALL NEW cruise route!

For those of you not familiar with the Ottawa meet, it consists of a show and shine, bbq and party on saturday and a cruise on sunday. Everyone who's anyone in Ontario and Quebec should (and usualy does) show up for this one .


WHEN: **May 26-27 weekend**

The meet starts off with a show and shine on MAY 26th around 2PM. We will be holding this at the Kanata Recreational Complex (in Kanata) again. There are restaurants nearby (for the Quebec guys ). I'll post directions to the KRC below. This is a good place to meet everyone and check out peoples rides.

On MAY 27th, we will be holding our annual cruise. The cruise route will be annouced during the show and shine. This year it will be held in Ontario but will feature the same kind of twisty roads and beautiful scenery we've all become acustomed to. And no crashes this year, right guys?!


The Ottawa meet is an RX-7 meet, but it is open to all Mazdas.

There are hotels near by... if not other people's places... majority of the time people stay at a hotel that is relatively near by Rxcetera's place.

I'll find out what the name of that hotel was....

Where's RX-8 Galaxy?! Man, I haven't seen him in a long time...

Hellbreed is another guy I haven't seen in almost a year...

Last time we were in Ottawa we stayed at the Hampton Inn off of Coventry. Give them a ring... the place is really nice. I've never seen beds that high before in my life! lol

So anyone else going to join us???

The weather is going to be really nice on Sat. And then it's going downhill for Sun! But where we're going to be it's still going to be really nice.
The drive back into town is going to suck!

Neo, I really wanted to go but my wife is out of town so the kiddies would be alone.
I will be getting my Rev 8 installed tomorrow so it's not a total loss.

 

Understandable... can't leave the kids alone too long... God knows what'll they do to the house! lol

I'm working till late tonight... would've been nice to drive up there and cruise with all the other rotaries...

 

Well the Show n shine WAS very nice. Not as many cars as previous years. But the day was Awesome and still very nice cars and good talk.

Then the BBQ was also excellent.

The cruise worked out to be very good also with a bit of water at the start .

Hope to see more guys next year.
