the video is here
I clicked on the link. How do I see the video? I saw it on your camera but want to see it again.

Thanks everyone for coming out. Everyone seemed very nice and it was great to meet some of the people whose names you see on this forum and see their cars. The drive up the 400 was fun as it was a nice chance to see what an 8 looks like moving. I have never seen one going the same way as me.

Amur, good job on the pictures. I hope to see other people's as well. Keep 'em comin'.

You're right I've got TONS of pics of my car since the very first day. But you're always curious as to what other people's perspectives look like. The ride up the 400 was fun, i only wished we all could've driving a little faster and more furious :p I only wish we had a better backdrop for pics. Those cellular antenna's don't do much for me.

Right-click and Save As worked for me... You'll need Quicktime to watch the clip.

So the close-ups or no?

When can we meet up again? I prefer to meet up with some bar or restaurant near by so that we can grab some food together and get some jealous eyes from other people.

WOOOOO....feels good and I strongly believe there should be some SHOW GIRLS around next day.

Can canyone call up and see.

Whew just finished adding the photos to ye ol. Yahoo album, so Click Here The originals are in high res, so if any of you want the full version, give me a shout.

Thanks to my wife for taking all of the photos.

It was great seeing everyone. We're sorry we missed some of you who came later. Definitely must do another one with some decent eats and where we can count how many people will check out our rides and, ahem, see how many times each of us use ye' ol alarm "look, but don't touch" warning. :D

It was nice to see the RX7s. What was wrong anyways? My wife got a kick out of seeing the foot power needed to bring her back to life.

Congrats Hybrid-RX8 on your 1st Place Mazda! So...when is Forge coming...perhaps you can attract some of yer model friends to come out to the next meet.

R888 - The Personalized Licence is $220, if I remember correctly. You can either go to MTO or to one of their Booths. There's one at Hill Crest Mall.

HK.RX888 - They did give you the red neon?

tored8 - Looking good! Glad to know my wife isn't the only RX8 female at the meet

CrackerJax - There is one nice place to take photos, but it's a bit rocky. Lesile north of 16 south of Major Mac, across from plaza with the country style. There is road that leads to nowhere (will be more commercial buildings later). I've taken some photos there. The back ground is still farm land, so it's not too bad there. Just keep the speed low, as I said lots of rocks I added it to the same album as the Toronto meet - but unfortunately it started to rain when I did, but you'll get the idea.

Spaceman, what accessory do you have the irrepressible urge to get now that you've seen some 8's in person with extras? Come on...you know you want it!

Ah, that sucks. I'm glad you got the meet done, especially for an out-of-towner, hehe... The meets can only get bigger and better. Keep an eye on the forums and hope that it matches your next trip to Toronto. If you want the full versions of any of the photo's pm which one and I'll place them on a thread. They are high res so don't want to freeze up ppl computers

Cool

Everybody took lots of pics!!!

Now, if you people can only tell time! lol

Overall, not bad for a 2nd time meet (last year we had one in the same spot).

As for Chris's RX-7, his starter is toast. When you guys left and we stayed the car started up after we ate dinner. But when we got to my place we attempted to readjust the starter. MyRxBad and Amur got their hands dirty and tried to get the starter readjusted. Unfortunately it was no good. We had to bump start him again when we left my place. Hopefully he'll have his car looked at later in the week.

I hope to see you guys again for the Mazde meet happening at the end of the month....

Later,

Glad to meet some new faces at the meet.
If you forget who I was, I was the one who started up my baby and then moved it for the line up shot and then shut it down COLD! :D BTW: It started perfectly fine later!

Broose: Nice to finally put a face to the name, as I've talked to you many times in the past. I'm really liking those polished wheels...

Hobbes: Sorry I didn't really get to talk to you. Had my wife come out, she would've loved your car. She loves the silver. :D

All else: nice to meet ya/see ya again. I will post up my pics later on tonight or this week. I took some pics of Kevin's blue Rx-8 for all who missed out.

HK.RX888 - Just wanted to wish you a safe and fun ride back to your home town before I forget. It was great meeting you and want to thank you again for setting up the meet.

For those who made it to the meet last weekend, can you tell me, with reference with the photos, which is you? :D Just to confirm the face to the name.

broose - How much were your flashy rims again? After seeing them in person, I've been thinking of getting them myself. When you get the fog light install take some pics, I would like to see how it looks.

You guys know of any reputal places to get them wonderful acessories below dealer costs? I'm getting a friend in Hong Kong to check up on somethings for me as well.

Ok as some of you know, I have a slef inflicted scratch on my 8. I got a autobody shop referal from Avante, Supreme Collision Centre. Are they good? I've spoken to them on the phone and they said they could do a little "something" about prices if I send other people over there (CrackerJack, moght want to get that hood looked at). So, if anyone has suggestions, I would like to hear them

If you guys are looking for a body shop... I can definitely suggest something better price and quality wise compared to some paint shop that Avante would recommend.

I've worked within the automotive scene for years and the last person I would trust would be a car dealership especially at the raping prices their referrals would cost. Often sales people or dealerships also require kickbacks from shops for their referrals because many ppl tend to believe dealerships.

Hobbes..drop me a msg.. Hell I'll even take you myself to my shop and make sure they give you a good quote.

Hey hobbes, i noticed the little scratch on the passengerside trunk. I didn't want to say anything in case you didn't notice it :D

As for my hood ding, i'm using touch up paint with a tiny craft brush. Needs a few more coats. But it would be good to know a shop if i gotta do it again. DOH.

Cracker Jax try to use X-scratch which found in Canadian Tire, simply use it then refund it.

Hobbes, I m looking for MS wings might ask for your kindly friend help from HK about the price? I dun want to have kits install until next spring since summer ends 3 to 4 months later and I haven't try the snow tires yet which I am looking to see the drop down with the snow tire.

Is anyone going to the CNE gathering at the end of this month?

Today saw
-Yellow RX8 with full appearance kit at Young & steels (unknown driver due to dark tinted windows)
-Titanium RX8 with full appearance kit at Young & steels (white mid age man who drove it)
