i was there a few weeks ago...went to this 'hip' restaurant and it was beautiful.

i STILL haven't got to avante yet...last week no car, this week HE didnt' call back..so now it's nexft mnonday

 

Really? Trying talking to susanna or if you can get him the service manager who's name is at the tip of my tongue. Anyone know it? Toronto Avante...well you can try the Richmond Hill Avante and see what they will do for you, but I haven't got my car serviced there as of yet, but I bet other 8 owners can give you the skinny on how they operate. I think seeing a bunch of RX-8's would cause heavy traffic BTW, i got snubbed by another 8 the other day when i waved at him. Don't let me catch you there at today's meet PUNK :D

 

Well, the meet was an interesting one. Everyone showed up more than fashionably late (big surprise) :D

Overall it was a nice turnout. I've never seen so many red RX-8's in one place! Although, the rest of you guys missed out on Kevin's blue RX-8 that arrived all the way from Kitchener. :p

Next time we'll make sure the meet will either be dinner/drive or just driving... How did everyone make out on the small cruise??

Doh, I was hoping to see a blue and Pete was supposed to come by with a yellow, didn't get to see that either.

HK.rx888 took a wicked video on the hwy 400 north. He's got video of a 5 rx8's passing in a row. As for being late... everybody know's you always add 1 - 2 hours to the actual time you never want to be the first one there. I took some pics, but not sure how to post them.

Like i mentioned to some of the folks at the meet, seems that the red ones are easiest to shine or shine the most. This was my first meet, and i took full advantage of it, by checking out other peoples rides to give me ideas on my own.

after seeing red 8's, i'm definately going to get zaino to shine up my silver 8, hobbes' tints look good so that's on my list of to-do, i also want to experient with the interior lights like hk.rx888 (no worries dude, you aren't from toronto, so nobody will think you copied ME when i do it :p )

Do you mean to create a 'wide' shot as I did above. You'll need Photoshop, (or MSPaint if you don't mind showing a hack job.)



Or do you mean to put several large pictures all in one post? If you do, here's my suggestion:

- hold down 'Ctrl' on your keyboard and press 'N'

- now click on this link: http://image.hostcubix.com/

- upload your first picture

- they'll give you back an address with html image tags around it. Copy and paste it into your reply.

- go back and upload your next picture... and so on, and so on...




And it wouldn't have been a true RX-7 meet without a breakdown. And here I thought that this was going to be the first weekend where I *wasn't* crawling under a 7. At least it wasn't mine this time. :D

And the after-meet meet? I think I stopped smiling around 3pm this afternoon...

I figured everyone's already been over these cars from stem to stern a thousand times, especially those who own one. How many times can you look at a door?
