1K checkup
I had my 'complimentary 1000 Km checkup' today. Basically a visual look at the car and a half *** attempt at washing it. (Still dirty parts everywhere).
While I was there, I wanted to buy the cargo net hooks that someone said were available at the dealerships. I have a cargo net from my last car, so I just needed the hooks to attach them to. Blank look #1. "You need to buy the whole net to get the hooks - $32.99." Okay, never mind.
There was a thread somewhere in this forum where someone said he could buy just the hooks from a dealership. Has anyone in Vancouver found a dealership that will sell just the hooks??
I also asked them what flash level I had in the car. I assumed I had the M flash since I only got the car last month. Blank look #2. "Umm... I don't know, but I'll get the mechanic to check." Okay, so the mechanic checks and says there were "a few updates that needed loading". Great. So he loads them and I asked "what level am I at now?" Blank look #3. "I don't know. It's up to date now though. Sometimes flash updates come every week or so." Eh?
It sounds to me like there are multiple levels of flash. IE, not just L, M, etc. Maybe M1, M2, M3....? Does that sound reasonable?
The main reason I asked about flash level was because my car is getting really crappy mileage. I know, I know, I've read all the threads. But it doesn't hurt to ask. On a "good tank", I got 17L/100Km. That was a good tank! So anyways, hopefully the mileage will improve a bit now with the "latest flash level" installed.
