2009 RX8 @ Toronto International Auto Show

No, they only have the 40th anniversary edition RX-8.
Don't pay full price for the Autoshow. You can get $14 tickets here:
$14 Autoshow ticket
All the action is in the MTCC south hall this year, so plan on spending most of your time there. And don't miss the History of Lambo exhibit. The north hall is super lame (Toyota, Chrysler, Hyundai, Subaru and Merc). Mazda and BMW are in the Skydome.
The Skyline GTR is really fugly in person. It looks like a riced up G37 coupe.

I was lucky to get a few free tickets from the wifey... but I think it's a waste money overall if you have to pay $20 to get in... Not nearly as impressive as the pictures that I've been of Detroit autoshow...

Went to both Detroit and Toronto this year.
Detroit for the 1st time. So I was interested to compare. My finding was that the Toronto show holds up very well to the Detroit show. They didn't have the Challenger at Detroit either, which we have in Toronto. On the whole, yes Detroit has more premiers, and ultimately more concepts, and that over the top American way about it, but the Toronto show in my opinion is almost as good.
The '09 RX-8 isn't at the Toronto show. And Detroit had the 16x cutaway, but it's no different than in the press release pictures. Just bigger rotor/bore, and direct injection. Nothing earth shattering. The fact that all housings on that engine are to be aluminum however is very interesting.
I sat in the GT-R. You can't see anything out the front. Doesn't inspire anything resembling a sporty feeling. It feels big. The design looks disjointed. I don't doubt the performance, but ultimately I bet the fun to drive isn't there. I'd rather have a Lotus Exige.

I went to the Toronto Autoshow and could not get over the white rx8 with the mazdaspeed body kit. I'm body kit hunting now. It was a very very expensive autoshow for me.
