24k Service...
Has anyone done this or did you skip it. Dealer said that Mazda could void my warranty if it wasn't done. ???
I'm getting it done Tuesday. That will take 2hrs & 4hrs for the recall to be done... So needless to say...I got a car for the day...

I am The One!
If you want the car to last, yes! If you're going to keep it forever, then you do scheduled maintenance ahead of schedule!
We all know you don't do everything by the "book". lol

and what's the tolerance/variance they usually accept on schedule vs. actual?
anyone know or have experience w/ this and when u have to use your warranty?

IIRC the 24k doesn't have much items in it. I didn't bother with it, the only scheduled maintenance I DID do is the 48k (tranny/brake/diff fluids change).

As long as you can prove what is required on that particular service is done in a "reasonable" time frame you are fine. We have had people come in for warranty with no proof of minimal service and thats where the problem occurs. Or when their friend gives them work order from his independent shop and even though the work order dates are every 4 months, the work order numbers are sequential (lol) Like number 1122 1123 1124 etc. The guys shop must be pretty slow I guess (lol)
