Hello Everyone,
Has anyone in Canada been effected by the 6MT recall notice posted on the service bulletin thread in the tech Garage section?
I checked with my dealer as I think my vin is within the ranage and they havn't heard anything about it. I'm wondering if it's just a case of Mazda Canadian late to the notice, kind of like the HP issue. Please let me know your thoughts?

We're definitely going to be included in the MT recall and the passenger airbag wiring recall. I'd expect Mazda Canada to be a bit behind on notices, so there's no point in pestering dealers yet. I'd sooner let them practice on someone else's car first, so I don't mind if I wait until April or May to have the recall work done!
Regards,
Gordon

I agree with Gord, let them get some practice on someone else first. I only have something like 350Km on my car since I got it home, and 150 of it was from the dealership
As long as it's not the driver airbag, the recall can wait, passengers ride at your own risk.

I got the passenger airbag done already, didnt hear about the 6mt recall yet, but the airbag didnt bother me since it was in the shop already, after some jerk hit my car and took off when i was on vacation. And to make matters worse, after my car was fixed, my drivers side headlight still didnt work.
If you ever get anything done at Don Becke Collision behind Wolfe Mazda in Surrey, please, be sure that everything is working, no matter how minor it might seem, they seem to miss some minor things like lights working.

I got mine of Friday as well. But still havn't got the airbag notice. I'm going to wait until I get both before I get the work done. I want them to get some experince on other cars before they do mine.
