8's in Atlantic Canada?

i guess the first thing would be to try and gauge the amount of rotarys are in atlantic and the interest that may be there for a general meet.
Does anyone have any suggestions on the first steps?[B]

Good question. I think posting about it here is a start at least. If we have 3 or 4 firm commitments from here, then we have enough to make the effort worthwhile.
Also, passing the word through people you know (I know 3 or 4 other people with Rotaries) should start some buzz.
After that, I think we just have to pick a date, venue etc. that works for the 3 or 4 people we have here, and then just start passing the word. Make sure the date is far enough out so we have some time to build up to it and off we go.
Maybe do up some little flyers and just start posting them on any Rotary powered car you see.

I ended up not going. i was afraid i would wast 50 bucks of gas and 3 hours of drive if no one else would'v shown up. so i just tried to find some in moncton again without much luck. . Anyways, I drive a Velocity red 2004 RX-8 GT with up-graded sound system, optional spoiler, and painted red calipars. Nice car, if i could stop myself from making it spin. Tires must be expensive for 18 inches.

Just got back to Calgary from vacation in Nova Scotia. Have a cottage near Port Howe in northern N.S. Spotted a V-Red parked in driveway in Northport a couple of times. Anyone here? Sure missed my baby for the 3 weeks I was away. Want to drive it all the time now that I'm back.

Lets try for a meet this Friday or Sat. Aug 19-20.
Tim Horton on Barrington and then down to the Park.
Friday's are car meet night at the park. Would be very cool.
If we don't do this soon summer will be over!
