Okay guys, well i am hoping I will have my new interior done in time for Meeting of the Mazda's. I will be placing the order for my new interior (Katskins) tomorrow.

I am torn between the 2 colors. here they are:

OPTION 1.) ALL RED (Door panel inserts as well) I absolutely love red interiors with white cars, especially exotics / sports cars. The middle inserts will be perforated and the side bolsters will be regular red leather.

OPTION 2.) ALL BLACK (Door panel inserts as well) This is the more conservative route, I will go with perforated center inserts with black outer bolsters. However I will have the stitching white to match the exterior.

With either option, I will be having the Mazda logo Embossed.

Its a toss up right now, I feel I will love the red and it will make more of an impact. The black will be subtle and will be timeless. The last thing I want is a cheap looking interior.

Lastly The grey A pillars and hood liner will be redone in black Alcantera (suede) for which ever color i decide to go with.

That's a tough decision. If you want the interior to be noticed, go with the red. If you're going to keep the car for awhile then go with the black.

Don't you have tinted windows? It's going to be tough to see the interior if you've got tint...

 

Remember its a lease car, I dont think I will be keeping it after the 4 years. After I am done with it, I will pull out the interior and put back the old covers and return it. I think I am going with the Red. As for tint, yeah 5% so its tough to see inside. But fackkk I dont think it will be ready for MOM.

 

It's a lease? Why do people lease a car and then modify it? I don't understand the reasoning behind this.

 

A lease costs less to get into.
Lower due at signing, and a smaller monthly payment.
the best thing about a lease is that you have the opportunity to delay your buying decision. Why BUY now if you end up not wanting to keep it later?
Lease, you decide in a couple years if you are going to keep it or not.
Makes sense to me.

 

Exactly, Plus I dont plan on keeping the car after the 4 Years. The MS kit will stay on the car, but all other mods will be removed.

 

if you dont mind me asking, where are you getting your interior done? and roughly how much is it?
