Advance Powerhouse experience
Alright, so I made a thread about Dufferin Mazda vs. Mazdee's a couple of weeks ago:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...18#post4017118
Mazdee's didn't resolve the clunking noise and I was waiting on Racing Beat to send me new sway bar bushings and end-links. After I received the parts, I didn't feel like going all the way to Pickering, I started looking for reputable shops closer to me and that was when I came across Advance Powerhouse.
I had a pretty good experience dealing with Bryan. I also asked him to install a set of stainless steel brake lines, he was patient to listen to my brake fluid needs and make recommendation. The car now feels much more precise after all the worn sway bar bushings are replaced. But most importantly, he got rid of the clunking sound that bothered me so. He told me my caliper slider bolts were seized, which was something I asked Dave at Mazdee's to check, to which he assured me were functioning just fine.
I am not pointing any fingers but just describing my experience. I understand clunking can come from many places. It probably could have been the worn sway bar bushings or the worn end-links. However, I am very glad I found Advance Powerhouse:
