Too bad you had to leave early spd_frk. But it's understandable.

ABS, actually you should be have been Beeping already. Any Rotary engine builders will advise you to hit the redline here and there during the break-in period. Just make sure the engine is fully warmed up before you hit the redline.

So get busy before the carbon buildup start ruining how the APEX seal are broken in.

My fav. was the 3 rotor prev. gen. RX7. Otherwise a good mix of 7's and 8s. Who's track ready 911 was that? Nice!

Also liked the 8 with lambo doors, $2500 ain't bad if you're looking for major bling! Then you can take that 50 cent song and change it to say "got Lamborghini doors on my R-X-8...."

Darn it, I came late and I missed the show (when he opened his hood). I heard he was showing off his 3 Rotors and its huge turbo of his FC.

allright allright. I was one of those with the cam. There are some nice pics.

It was a good meet, I'm not sure if you guys ended up going for a ride together, but next time we should do it, should be fun, as I've never done that before.

With regards to the pics, I'm gonna try to create a web page within an hour or so and post all of them there... stay tuned.

Easy now. Nice and slow!!! This break in period is critical. Slowly bring up the revs as mileage increases and then when you get to about 1,500KMs, change the oil and then its open season!

The reason why I wanted to publish them on the web site is because all the pics I took are in high quality (about 1mb each), so you could print some if you wanted.

However, it's not that easy... very limited with space as well as other things I noticed. For now I just got them all on my new MSN space, so you can see all the pictures (in kind of crapy quality) at

http://spaces.msn.com/orkhanr/photos/

If you have other ideas, where I could publish these pics in high quality (in a simple way) please let me.

Enjoy

Nice pics. I left Montreal at 9AM Sunday morning after a long night of partying to be able to attend the meet. As it turns out I was going to be at the meet @ exactly 1:30PM. Then traffic came to a standstill on the 401 and I got stuck in traffic that was basically stopped at around 404 for 2 hours until the 427 more or less. Got to the 400 and it was solid with a tractor trailer flipped over. Thought everyone would have split by 3 or so so I kept going home.

At least I tried my best.

The pics are really nice. I like the cool doors on the red. Its nice to see a pic of Mic after almost 6 months since I seen him last.

One question though: How come Helas' RX8 looks so slow and not nearly as shiny as the rest of the 8's?

Hobbes,

If it's the pics that Mic took while he was at the Olympics, the Ferrari you saw was the 612 Scagletti (I think that's how you spell that guys name...).
The 599 GTB is a recent release. I doubt anyone has taken delievery of the new 599 GTB yet.

Mic,
You sound a bit bitter?? If you haven't noticed, there were lots of RX-8's. Really clean ones too. But never, never forget, the RX-8 would not exisit if it weren' for the RX-7's!! You didn't bring any chicks either!!! Shame on you!!

WOOOOO WOOOOO Wait a damb miniute here. First of all, my car is a V.R. so we know it is fast! Second of all, there are soooo many damb cotes of was on that mother, if you were to throw something at it, it would be deflected in mid air.

Just because you didn't have enough time to wash your car between building another extention on your house and finishing the basment for the 8th time.................................

Nice pics, thanks for posting. My fav. 8 was the silver one with the cleverly mounted liscence plate...must of been a bright guy...oh thats mine!

The VR with the 20 inchers was a close second...

Not as many modded 8's as I expected.

LOL, Mic's the master. True enough, a hottie with a hot ride, is there a substitute? Thanks man, though my ride wasn't lowered, and didn't get them funky wheels. Had to be someone's 8, I mean, there were so many of there. Heh. Though I am planning to finally fix my front fender...fingers crossed and all that it doesn't cost me too much.
