I've been waiting for news on this for months now....
but I'm kinda disapointed... Where's the ride through Niagara-on-the-Lake down the Niagara Parkway all the way up to the falls. It's such a nice ride I can't see us all getting together and missing it.

you better come out when I ask you to. Coz, then you'll take the lead with the RX8s when they come...

I just came back from the Falls, I would definetely recommend the drive down the niagara parkway from Fort Erie to Niagara, I did this slowly you can't really go fast, but it's scenic.
But ummm I totally do no recommend the city, not very friendly, too freakin' busy and expensive as hell. I was there 4 days it was not very enjoyable really. It's filled with little kids and arcades, not really my thing.

It depends where you go.
Keep in mind that it is a tourist hot spot and the weekend you came is the july 4th weekend. You probably went to clifton hill area and that place is always busy starting friday aft. during summer season.

OK folks, just got off the phone with many hotels/motels.
These places are actually decent looking (outside)
For July 31st
Flamingo Motor Inn 905 356 4646
$169
Howard Johnson Express Inn 905 358 9777
$160
Villager Lodge 905 354 3162
$129
Comfort Inn 905 354 1849
$179
Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel 905 356 1161
$199
Travel Lodge Bonaventure 905 374 7171
$159.50
Overnight Inn 905 371 1700
$139
Please note that all these hotels/motels are near the restaurant that we are all meeting up for dinner. Along Lundy's Lane. I ask for the cheapest room they have and said that only two people are staying.
I hate these prices since it seems like every ******* hotel in the area seems to jack up the rate during long weekends.
I will keep on looking.

Also for anyone who is coming,
You need to fill up before meeting us at the meeting point.
there is a Sunoco on Walkers line on your right after coming off Niagara or to your left if coming from TO just over the QEW.

Don't worry about it too much. I'm sure next year as a senior you'll have a better team. if you want hook up with karl and run the route for me. just let me know.
Just to let everyone know this is NOT A RACE to the falls meet. It is a scenic cruise catering young and old, rx8s and rx7s, miata and protege.
If anyone loves to drive then come with us. Pace notes w/ kms will be incl.
Kind of like a mini rally.
