Any Nova Scotia owners?

Hi

Just got my 8 last friday!

Love it but the engine ligh came on on the way home from the dealers.

I took it in and they said it was the converter.

Now I know this car was flooded on delivery.

I had to fax the halifax dealer the Servive Bulletin on the flooding because they had no record of this!

Anyone in Nova Scotia have the PCM flashed to "M"??

Would like to contact other 8 owners in the area to get the dealer working on this issue.

Thanks

As per the other thread, you are not alone.

Also, as per the other thread, I'm not suprised "that" dealer has no record of it.

I got the M Flash done on my car a month or so ago... seemed to make a decent little improvement actually. I'm very happy with it.

I took it in to Steele for a regular service, told them I wanted the new map, and they said "No problem."
Just added a note about fuel mileage or driveability or something to my work order to cover themselves just in case, and then applied to new map to "fix" it.

Also, there is a section in the owners manual about flooding.
Just drive it as per normal. The car will cough a little bit, and then work as per normal.. the light will clear.
