anyone buy from northshore?

anyone bought their car from morrey in the northshore automall?
I took my a test drive there and had my accessories installed there and they were first rate.

However, a friend just told me a story that his sister tried to buy a protege there and paid a 1000 deposite to come back the next day to sign the leasing contract. Next day she arrives, the sales tells her to wait 30 mins. After 30 mins no one got her so she asked and was told to wait another 30 mins cause they were LOOKING FOR HER CAR. After that 30 mins, they tell her that her car's been SOLD.... and here's the kicker, they tell her that she HAS to buy a car from them because of the deposite and tries to make her buy a 5000 dollar more expensive car (I forgot to ask what model, but I assume they tried to make her move up to a new 3). My friend's sister refused and wanted to her money back and they just flat out refused. They are now going to court.

if i'm correct, you bought your car from wolfe, right?
then how come you had your accessories installed in morrey?
they gave you better deal on accessories? i saw the wolfe website, they have some 20% off coupons for accessories that you can print out.

yeap bought from wolfe
I got my first test drive at morrey though
cause wolfe told me I had to wait a WEEK for a free timeslot to get the accessories installed, so I ended up calling around and only morrey told me I could bring it in right away or anytime the next day... and morrey gave me a 20% off INSTALLATION labour as well... and they were able to get accessories a lot faster for some reason (wolfe told me to wait till APRIL for the footwell lights while morrey got me a set within a week!) plus you get to go online and check this forum while you wait for your service at morrey =) and they drove me around to get food while I waited for my car
once again, I think morrey's pretty good dealership but just for one reason or another they decided that my friend's sister was some one they could screw around with... which is unfortunate... so just a warning to those who plan to get something from morrey, MAKE SURE THEY DON'T SELL YOUR CAR THAT YOU PAID DEPOSITE ON! and then try to force you to buy a more expensive car

they didn't give me any discount on the installation when i bought my spoiler......
anyway, you had any discount when you bought your stuff in wolfe?
i'm planning to get the stock kit ( frt air dam, side/rear deflectors), but they are too expensive even i have the 20% off coupon.

hmm.... I think you'd have to "ask" them, though they did the 20% off installation in kinda a good gesture thing since they know I live far away from their dealership.
from wolfe, I had 20% discount on all accessories and I didn't have to print any coupons, I think all rx8 accessories are 20% off right now?
I see.... yea the body kits are kinda steep... I only got front/rear mud flaps and the rotary crests. the mud flaps help A LOT in keeping my car clean =)

oh and the exhaust finishes!!! It'd look great on a black car I think... you can hardly tell on my car cause it blends into the body colour!
but black would be perfect colour

i have the side outlet garnish, frt/rear rotary accent installed.
great contrast on black!
but the exhaust finishers are just hard to tell......i have seen some pics already, maybe i need to see it in person.
btw, i just ordered the eyelids, i think they make my car more aggressive, especially on black

oh really? hmmm I'd thought the bright silver would contrast nicely and stand out from a black car... but hard thing is to keep them shiny from the exhaust soot
what are the eyelids?

Hey, I'm from the Lower Mainland and I am looking into trading my RSX Type S for a RX8... I was just wondering what the best dealership is to go to and what you all got the cars for and how much your insurance is... I am just in the process of seeing whether or not the car is in my price range. Thx in advance.
