Anyone ever got left a note?

since last year when i got my Rx8, ive gotten countless Compliments on my car, ive had people stare, you know.. the usual, well, last night i went to see 300 in london, i forget the theater name, it was in some shopping mall.. not masonville.. it had underground parking.. so i parked down there.. when i came out i see another Red Rx8 parked right infront of me.. nothing like seeing 2 red rx8s side by side in the same spot... anyways, the guy tells me we were left notes.... yes. notes... on my windshield. it said "nice car, Will you marry me"
i kept the note, thats the first time i have ever had a note left on my car that wasnt a ticket of somesort.. im just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.?

I had one that said:

"This car is hot..if you're under 30 and want to F**K call me " and the phone #

Damn...if I was under 30 and not married...and wanted to catch a VD...it sounded like fun

holy crap I would LOVE for something like that to happen.

I'm 25 and fairly hot - yet still havent gotten any ***** directly due to my car. If someone left me the "hot car wanna ****" note - damnnn I'd be dialing those digits right there in the parking lot.

I've had 2 notes left on my car while I was running errands. The usual "Love your car...."
A surprising incident happened while I was waiting in the left hand turning lane. It was around 10:30pm and I was driving to a friends house. I was waiting behind 1 car and in the lane next to me was a Jeep Cherokee. Before I knew it the rear passenger window rolled down and some chick flashed me while holding a sign "Love your car! How about these?"
LOL!!!

I had to roll down the window and gave her a compliment before I had to turn left. I think the 2 cars behind me were just as surprised.

I can't wait for the new season to start!

thats bull ****, no way that happened. No one ever left me any looks or verbal complement that is remotely close to that. Only two time I got complemented from member of the opposite sex was " nice car" and " I really love your car". except they were ~ 16 and 14 years old, respectively.

jk.. I believe you... hopefully one day I will get a similar notes... one day..

I've never had a note, but had a guy give me his business card in a car wash with his cell # scribbled on the back. Told me to call him sometime and walked away... I was just stunned..!

Had my first compliment from a woman the other day, older lady in her late 50's.. "What a cute little car!"
Mostly its teen boys, or young men that comment.. or the vanload of middle aged husbands going golfing (or wherever now that its winter) smiling and giving the A-OK or thumbs up.

My favorite was an older white haired gentleman for sure my fathers age or better, in a British roadster on the highway.. he chased me for a bit, then we drove side by side chatting along the highway (yelling more like it) doing about 60kmh for a good 5 min until we realized we were holding up traffic... and then off our separate ways.

Hope I see him again this summer!

I've only gotten compliments and whatnot. One night parked at the end of the local Wal-Mart parking lot, this really hot girl knew one of my other female friends, so my friend introduced her to me because apparently she wanted to meet me because she loved my car. She asked if she could drive it. The girl she was with (my friend) knew how to drive mt because her car (solstice) is a 5spd, so obviously she was taught. Me and a friend were sitting in my car eating Taco Bell so we couldn't switch. Eventually, I never got a message or call from that girl ever again.

The only note that was left on my car was left by my ex-gf. It read, "Butterfly Killer." At the time, I recently went for a drive on this certain that's usually not being driven by anybody else, and I go their to drive fast. It's got corners and stuff. Anywho, a bunch of butterflies were EVERYWHERE (it'd just rained like 4-5 days in a row prior to this) so my whole front bumper was literally painted with butterflies. I know i'm getting off topic but yeah, just thought I'd share that. I'll take pics next time it happens.

dying_here,
Well, I don't know if the RX-8 will have the same effect as an FD.

Renesis_8
I could've opened the door and let her jump in, but it was dark so I couldn't confirm if she was "legal". All I remember are those big melons she had and the note underneath them! LOL

It should be easier for you guys to pick up women because you have 3 extra seats. I only have the passenger seat available....

Head up to Barrie. Those people never get to see nice cars around their area.
There was this other time where I was heading to Wasaga beach to meet up with a few friends. As soon as I got off the 400 I stopped for fuel at the Sunoco gas station. There I was fueling the car, minding my own business. This was before they had the credit card machines at the pump. So I had to go inside to pay for fuel. As soon as I stepped through the door I noticed the cashiers were 2 teeny boppers. I didn't get to the desk before they started asking "Is that your car?". I looked up and there they were both bent over the desk kinda exposing themselves! LOL!! It was hard to focus, but I looked across to my car and asked "The red one?". They started giggling like teeny boppers do and started to "jump" up and down, if you know what I mean.. LOL
They asked "You're really young to be driving a Ferrari around..."
That was my ticket in. I usually get the Ferrari comment at least 3-4 times a year.
I went with the flow and started to chit chat with them. Finally when another person walked in, they gave me the receipt. I turned around and started to walk away while they were still giddy.
Got back to the car and as I was putting the receipt away I noticed a few numbers in the back.

Don't worry, I didn't call them. I couldn't. They were way too young. And clearly under the wrong impression.
Lots of "interesting" women up in Barrie! lol

Then there was this other time while I was waiting at the Rogers building by Jarvis.....

LOL!!!

,
love that story

Not quite so good but funny at the time :

Noticed a guy walking along looking at my car - next thing he walks straight into a lampost and just about knocks himself out . Looked like a skit out of an old Charlie Chaplin movie .

Hey NEO! You've also had NUDE models randomley come up and start taking pictures on your car while you were in it on the streets of Toronto.

You have NO RIGHT to complain

I'm not complaining. Find it kinda weird is all.

There I am napping in front of the Rogers building because my Pop had his car in for maintenance so I was picking him up in the FD. I guess the people shooting the nude pics never noticed I was still in the car.
Next thing I know is this nude model starts to pose in front of the building pretending to get into the passenger door! LOL!!
That was a pleasent way to wake up...
They had to shoot quickly because building security would come out and make them leave.
They shot for at least 10min's before people started to realize the nude model trying to get into my car.
The 967 1111 building across the street had every employee lined up against the glass just staring at her! LOL!!!

I'll never sell my FD...

Smokin LaLa,
Actually, it happened while I was trying to turn onto hwy7 off of Woodbine.
Aurora is a small town. I usually see expensive supercars around my area. No real "flashing" happening up here...

The only female attention I have received so far was from this 300 pound woman in a Cobalt SS and she tried to race me off the line, I knew she was huge due to the marshmellow arms on the steering wheel, she winked at me and smiled and I was like GOD HELP ME!!!!!!!! I am not trying to race her, but I was just driving the hell out of there fearing for my life, The SS impressed me with its power it kept up until I Downshifted to 2nd and back up to 3rd.........Hot chicks never notice my car maybe cause of the colour HHHMMmmm............

One chick was actually humping my car when I got out of the Galaxy Cinema at Bubble Tea Road and Guido Avenue. Told her we should meet up at the Parents Paid For My Ride meet up in Markham on Saturday. She said "let's hook up" and I went back to my parent's basement and told my guild pals on Warcraft that I'm gonna score some sweet tweet if Mom will pay for gas this weekend.
