Hey, rx8thunder, just talked to my buddy whos got the Borla, he's got his 8 out, said no problem if you want to meet up with us and hear it. He said he should be coming out for the RPM meet, so if you want, you could hear it that day. You could hear the Mspeed, RB, Borla, and Greddy that day. Along with the RB, AEM, Mspeed, Umnitza intakes.

 

Awesome. If he changes his mind about going to the event, please let me know and we can set up something ahead of the meet.

Does most of the group have aftermarket suspension as well?

 

A few do, as follows:
DarkBrew soon to have RB sways, springs and tokico d spec shocks
spd frk mazdaspeed shocks and springs
agent008 has rb springs, dont know if he has shocks too
qwtre has tein basic coilovers
kris has or gettin on tein, i think its H tech, since S tech would be too much with his ridiculous rims.
that all i know of among the reg meet joes, all should be in attendance at rpm.

 

Im getting the H-Techs, they on order already. Thing is i dont think they will be here in time for the RPM meet. I will call JRP tomorrow and see how long it will take again.

Hopefully i can get them in on time. if not i will just do it myself.

 

Does anyone know when the KHAN MOTORSPORT website is going to open for the season?

Want to set up an exhaust and CAI install for early May when my 8 comes out of it's winter snooze.

What type of CAI and exahust are you looking at Boeing Boy? Will you be joining us at the RPM meet on the 19th?

Currently looking at the following:

• Exhaust: Greddy SP2 Exhaust
• CAI: AEM Intake --> Red

Waiting for pricing from a few sources, could change my mind if a different product is available at better pricing.

Unfortunatly, I will not be able to make the RPM meeting, went to their opening last year and hopefully will be back there for upgrades in early May.

Another option to a red intake is to just get either the mazdaspeed or aem in silver or blue, if red is unavailable and powdercoat it to red. Might look better than the stock red aem itself. I think ebay or RPM themselves would be the best for the Greddy.
