IsMao (cool name),

Definitely want to see pics and learn more about it.

I was at Probart today visiting, guy with a blue 8 came in for tires. I asked if he was on rx8club but he said no. Seen at least 3 other 8's and asked if they come here and they don't.

When am I gonna run into some of you guys here in London?

Thanks Zerobio.

Here are a couple of pics:

Anyone from London Ontario?-dsc03287.jpe
Anyone from London Ontario?-dsc03293.jpe

The white cable is an USB cable that I still need to fit. I don't drive my 8 daily so haven't had the need to do it yet .

I have an 8 iPod adapter that I will not be using any more since I installed the car PC. it sells at $141 + import tax + shipping in ebay. I will let it go for $100 if anyone is interested. Email me if interested.

I went to Provart today. I scratched the driver's seat the other day with some tool and I was trying to find info on how to fix it there. This guy Igor in parts has been always very helpful. He gave me a phone number that lead me to another guy that does scratches repairs. I have an appointment on Monday. I really hope this guy can fix it .

Cool installs.

Yes I've bought stuff from Igor too and he's good. Hope you can get that seat fixed. Where are you having it done?

it's called Fibre New www.fibrenew.com. They go to your place and give you an estimate. Then you decide if you want to go ahead or not.

I will be able to comment more after my appointment on Monday.

By the way, forgot to mention that I am also selling my iPod video 30 GB. It has 2 years extended service at Best Buy. $200.

Let's keep this thread alive!

no more postings on this thread? let's keep in touch guys, hopefuly we will be a good bunch of us for meetings in the future.

I got the seat repaired. I ended up with a scarf since it was a deep cut. the guy did a great job thou for $125 taxes included. it looks much better than before.

Just put a Borla catback a couple of weeks ago. My car is stored for the winter so I haven't had the chance to test it properly. Winter is going slow for me .

Any one went to the Detroit Auto Show and took a look at the new RX-8 2009?

April meeting!

April sounds great! Let's here some some dates, times and places proposals from everyone.

I will start waving to any RX-8 I see on the road from now on, hopefully they will be on this forum.

I saw a silver 8 on Wonderland north close to Lawson road this week. I drive a red wine color Windstar during the winter. I did not have a chance to wave thou.

OK, I'll start (I suggested this last time but no meet materialized):

How about a bubble tea meet at Wonderland and Oxford. Large parking lot right outside the place that is not that busy. April 10-12 or so?

Alternatively, I still have a soft spot for UWO. I think the general public can still enter the small lot in front of University College for free on weekends, but I'll have to double check. It's a great photo op.

If you're talking about that church, then yes we can still get in there. Just what the nuns need to see a bunch of us in our 8's! Might cause a stir.

I'm up for Bubble Tea. Sounds like fun. It would be cool to meet.

Saw a Canary Yellow at Archie's on Commissioners East the other night. Anyone here? (what's the real name for "canary yellow"?) I waved, just on principle, but they were in the restaurant so probably didn't see me :o)

I was at Probart Mazda in london today putting in the AFE SS and there was a BB GT in the showroom that was sold to somebody in town. So now I have more competition! I wonder who bought it. Also a 2004 VR with 43,000 km for $20k in there.

More 8's hittin' the road around here.

April 12th, 2008 sounds good for me. Weather permitting, should I say?

How about 2 pm?

I saw a Black Cherry Mica (I think that's the name for the dark red one) on Friday at Wonderland and Oxford. I couldn't wave because it was in front of me.

Exhaust spring bolts?

Hey guys, does anyone know how tight (torque) the spring bolts on the flange after the cat should be?

When I replaced my exhaust for the borla one, I did not pay attention how tight the bolts were. I did tight them all the way so the springs are totally compressed but I am not sure if that is the way they are supposed to be.

I did some search on the forum but could not find any ingo. If any can share some info it would be great! Thx.

Monthly bump.

I'm on for April 12, 2008 @ ~2pm at Bubble King at that plaza on Oxford/Wonderland. I don't remember if they open that early though.
