And Remember Guys... key thing when crossing the border is saying that you are going to the Casino to blow some cash with my 8 buddies...

It's an excuse they welcome, no fuss, no muss in terms of getting over the border!

DO NOT say you are going shopping or something like that.

That works...I was thinking just saying going for a cruise and meeting up with some american 8's...at the casino The main thing is on the way back, that's when they really or more so care.
Thunder - which american casino u wanna go to? Is there only one or more?

NOTE

Found out yesterday that we (banks) have the Friday off, not Monday (I thought the monday..oops). Anyhow I was thinking that around 5ish we could/should head over to the casino and hang till of course whenever, but roll out around 7ish? At the casino might be a good idea to keep any kind of receipt or whatnot from parking there if/or when asked at the border we can present them the parking receipt. Not a big deal just a thought.

Dude.. the US customs dudes don't give a rats if you're going to the casino or shopping.. you're spending money in the US.. that's all that's important. It's coming back across the Canadian boarder where you say that you hit the casino....

^ With so many 8's crossing at the same time, we are bound to draw a bit of attention, just want to make sure our story going there and coming back is consistent and sellable...

Good idea Thumper because many of us will likely be going in different directions through the middle part of the day. The Casino is called Seneca Niagra Casino and Hotel . It is very close to the border and is probably a good place to re-connect before crossing.

Lol... I guess so... either way we're going to be drawing a lot of attention.. but with that many 8's rolling around it's more or less just a cruise. Other then our cars our group demographic is extremely diverse so... yeah. Highly doubt they're gonna be targeting us as some kinda gang.. lol

You're thinking about this way too much dude. I use to live literally on the border when I was in BC... use to cross all the time... there's always a chance that they'll pull acouple of people over... but as long as you don't have anything IN the car (spare tire don't mean ****) you're fine. Now if you were to be rolling across the boarder with a new set of rims or rubber... different story

Are there still suggestions being taken for routes after we hit up the tire shop or on the way back?

If we come back via Niagara Falls or Fort Erie bridges, I would like to suggest going 420>hwy58>406>QEW.

Reason being, we would go through the 850m tunnel under the Welland Canal at highway speeds. With one car it sounds evil, with a pack we could probably summon demons.

im game for that. Wish i had an aftermarket exhaust to join in on the fun though. I drove a customers car today with a magnaflow and it was really impressive actually. Looked great, has held up great over the years (it was installed in late 04 when he got the car and still looks to be in great condition) and it sounded really nice. didnt get a change to take it out and make her beep to hear the sound up there, but i really liked what i heard under normal driving.

In terms of our plan, wondering whether we should reconnect somewhere at 5 pm for a bite to eat and then leave for home after that. What do you guys think?
