Well, it was silver, had most of a MS wing, drove to Markham, did not smell like dirty exhaust anymore....

Thx...NP guys it was a blast!! We can't have an 8 cruise with out at least one turn around right...but into a dead eh...oops hahaha. And I think we have all noted NEVER to follow pros lol...sorry Pros. Quote "Why the hell is everyone following me, I don't know where I'm going!!" Yet he was in the lead lol. I'm getting u a bumper sticker "Don't follow me, I'm lost tooooooooo!!!!"

Awesome day! You forgot the one American guy that came across with us at the border Thunder...the only dirty 8 lol.

Thx again for peeps help on the exhaust (especially Greg and Rev) for getting up and under there, and Greg saying his neck is screwed and he was under the car the longest. Really appreciate it!

Good news! I was able to hit 6 woot woot. I slowed down to 90ish, rev matched a bit in case it went to 4th, and was able to get her in there. I did this a few more times on the way home, going 5th - 6th, grinded a couple times (urg!!) but able to get 6th. I'm still thinking about my theory on it, see what AFE says.
As for driving in 5th 80% of the way home, well I sure don't have to down shift to get some power lol...but BIG difference in economy I was finding.

We thought that was you Mike...pros even called me saying that, I was so tired I pointed straight to home...no offense!

No worries about the dinner, but you should have given me me another hour, could have paid for everyone's gas on top on my exhaust

Great cruise! Glad it came together so well...Now BRING ON MOSPORT!!

Making progress in my hunt for lugs that are a closer match to WB.

Pros: when should we get together for the MS front bumper install and HID's and Fogs. Maybe you want to join us Chris and we can figure out the foowell lights too?

I can't believe how much I love those silly interior blue lights, too cool.

Pics or it never happened!

Well here they are:

I only had pics of the cruise down there, nothing of the installs or afterwards, but rx8thunder has some too.

Thanks to all who made it out. Big thanks to NVX, rx8-2nv, and ZmFnZn for helping me out.

We can officially say that if NVX says he's coming, hes coming. Guy drove by himself to meet up with us on the stateside, Commitment.

Also big thanks to rotarygreg, who's a HUGE asset to our community. Can't believe he got under Thumper's car and under my hood along with Thumper's. I hope you keep your 8 for a very long time, lol.

Thanks to Rev for his big help in all aspects of this cruise, from helping with Thumper's exhaust to having his company keep my company busy.

Thanks to ZnFnZm helping with the interior light installs, and rx8thunder for throwing up this idea and helping with the short shifters!

And of course, a huge props, yes PROPS, to Marky Mark for setting up and organizing this thread, helping me find coils for 22 bucks, and keeping us on track. Kinda makes sense now why your a teacher, guy has printouts for everything.

And Johnny Famous, for showing up from the Stateside, you have been dubbed an honourary CDN.

Hey guys let me know if you need a hand, i was planning on pulling my front bumper off on Saturday to change the HID's and the fogs, as well as ripping out the VFAD.

I don't even hear the gear noise, it's just 6th gear. I was on the threads, reading how some guys filled it down a bit. But what are they filing?

We might as well setup a mini meet then, your close to Oakville already. I need to put the new plugs and wires in too.

Might as well call it an install meet, lol.
