Well, I went for my first oil change today. I decided to go there cause I remember reading that a lot of you guys recommended them and also because they are Ontario's #1 volume dealer on the RX8. I figured this would mean they would service more RX8, therefore would have more experience and knowledge on our cars. I made an appointment with them last week for today. When I got there, they didn't have my name in their appointment book. Nevertheless, they accommodated me. Other than the oil change, I had them check on a few other things:

1. A/C was fluctuating between cold and warm.
2. About 7 times when the engine took longer to turn over and start.
3. Slight squeal on front brakes.
4. About 2 times where I had problems putting the car in 1st gear after the engine was turned off.

When I called them later in the afternoon about the progress, they said they were almost done. 1. They found a fault with the ac amplifier and replaced it. 2. They flashed my car to the N flash for the hard start. 3. They upgraded my front brake pads and rotors. 4. They weren't able to simulate my problem at this time.

Overall, I am very pleased with their service and will definitely go back there again for future service. After that flash, the car did feel a bit smoother but I didn't notice any increase in power. I wonder is my gas consumption will change after this too.

Anyway, I hope this will help anyone with similar symptons on their 8s!!!
