Dude my dealer hates me and my car. I've already been told that I have too many mods to it. At that time it was only a Revi intake, RB Ram Air, RB Lightened flywheel and under drive pulleys.
They haven't even seen it with the Zex nitrous kit yet. They would laugh me out of the shop.

If you no someone that would be blind to those things I'm all ears. PM me.

Until then I'm saving my empty beer bottle money.

Finally got her back tonight... should I assume it's normal that when the transmission has been rebuilt thrice that she doesn't feel exactly the same as she did before? (minus the grinding of course). And wow, that first gear really whines now. I hope things are smoother after I swap out the tranny fluid again.

Oh, the CEL stared at me the whole drive back home. Time to search the millions hits I'll get for CEL, unless someone can tell me it's something simple like unplugging the battery to reset it.

The warranty extension will cost $3k for another 4 yrs.

You can disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes should clear the cell.
Or you could go to Canadian Tire and buy an ODBII reader for about 200 bucks and read the code then clear it.

finally

The CEL coded to be a "neutral switch safety error". 1st gear whine was a bad bearing. And the 6th gear synchro needed to be re-done. Geez. So after 4 weeks at the dealership and three tranny rebuilds, I finally have my car back. Seemed OK on the drive back. Unfortunately they washed my car (with that huge hard bristle brush) after I told them not to!

Anyways, can't say I'm sorry to see the Kia loaner go, although it did make a nice winter beater during last week's snow storm.
