Check out www.tiretrends.com - Canadian mail order wheels and tires out of Vancouver. I've bought 2 sets of wheels and 3 sets of tires from them over the past 3 years - they are excellent to deal with, and great prices.

For example, they show the Motegi DP5 18x7.5 at $217.60 ea for Silver, Hyper Black is $233.60 each.

Regards,
Gordon

tiretrend.com is pretty good.. I ordered my old Motegi MR7s from there. The other one is 1010tires.com... their direct competitor. But I'm starting to find that shops like Tunerworks and Speedtech can match their price just as good, plus you don't have to worry about shipping damages and you can build a good relation with them for future parts.

avg8 ... us Canadians don't need to worry about tpms. As for the offset, I seem to remember the 50mm is stock but it can accept all the way down to 45 (or was it 42). The bolt pattern is 5x114.3. You'd have to check in the tire section to be certain. I'd ask them if they've had rx8's with those rims placed because we want to make sure that our brakes will clear the rims.

I've asked a forum member about it and they had 17" DP6s and they cleared the brakes barely. So I'm thinking 18s should clear them no problem. But thanks for the info!

EDIT: Oh damn, I thought this thread was about DP6's!!! Anyway, I'm going to get the DP6's, not 5s.
