All,

Has anyone else been noticing that their rear brakes squeak when applied. I have only 6500K on the car...

is it normal??

Mine just started squeeling at 8k (and only braking on reverse!?). Started happening right after the dealership swapped out my summer wheels.

I believe there is a U.S. TSB for new brake pads that fix this. You may have to convince your local Mazda service to take it on.

Me too. Mine started squeaking when I drove off the lot after the dealership put winter wheels on. Had the TSB fix applied (softer brake pads) but that made no difference.

What!? I can't believe that your brakes are still making the noise. Have you brought it back in?

Mines parked for the winter, I hope that they get their act together by the spring.

I had it in yesterday for its 15000 oil change, but (naturally) it wasn't squeaking then. It seems to squeak only when the temperature's low, and it's been pretty warm in Calgary the last few days.

Just wanted to keep everyone posted...Went in today to my dealership for an oil change and when i was done they told me that they had replaced the front pads under the TSB. The rears they said were not part of the problem but they serviced them anyways...So far...no squeaking.
