Brake Squeal
Only 7500 km but I guess I do drive it hard. Noticed today my brakes are squeeling. Never did before no matter what the temp. It has been alternately warm and cold, if that has anything to do with it.
I wonder, could some dirt or debris be causing it? I washed last weekend but have gone longer with no noise. Is it possible that driving hard could wear them down this fast? I think I'll take it in on Saturday to check the pads unless it goes away tomorrow (might try to wash it also and see if that helps).
You guys think it's way too soon for new pads? Anybody get squeel all of a sudden at this low km where before you didn't have any?
Thanks.

幹他媽!
i only have 6600 miles on mine, and, my brakes squeal too. there's something the dealer can spray on there to reduce the squeaking. but, it doesn't bother me that much so i just live with it.

they're aggressive brakes and they'll squeal...they applied some solution on mine a while back to eliminate the sound. But they're back now...and everyone can hear when I step on the brakes :-P

Mine squeel too. Ain't no thing.
I'm with Neo. Squealing brakes just mean you're serious. I'll be putting on some squealier and seriouser pads whenever we get to the point that the temp doesn't drop below 10C. That's right Neo... I'll challenge you to a brake-off. Then we'll bake cookies on our rotors.
