Bullshit

Went to Prima Mazda about 2 weeks ago when I had a slight accident involving a hook falling off a truck and going threw the front of my car.

Prima mazda was supposed to replace the front grill and ac condenser.

I got the car back about a week ago and just realized right now that they used the same grill, but just glued it all back together. I knew this because I saw the crack and a couple distinct marks left on the grill from before the accident. I called the dealership and talked to the service manager and he started to raise his voice at me stated that he changed the grill.

I’m going to take my car in on the weekend to resolve this crap. I shouldn’t be accepting this when I paid for the new parts. This is bullshit.

All I’m saying is …. Don’t go to prima mazda for service.

Holy crap! I'd be so pissed I'd take time off work to go visit the General Manager of that dealership. I'd take close-up pictures and make copies of everything...in fact....I'm getting pissed for you, just thinking about that. GEEZ!

There's also an online, consumer complaint website called www.ripoffreport.com. Companies absolutely HATE getting mentioned in there. They have a HUGE audience....

Good luck with that issue and keep posting updates.

Pete, sorry to hear what happened.

It maybe wise to called Mazda Canada before hand and "Ask their advice on what to do" then take down the Operator's name and ID before going to the Dealer. Then if anything, you can just tell them you will call Mazda Canada together. From what I know, Dealer hate pissing off the Headquarters cuz it will hurt them bad in the long run.

Good Luck Pete.

Good luck in resolving this Pete.
Also... Just to cover all your basis (since you didn't include a pic.)
I know you probably already know this but, don't forget that there is a part of the front grill that is removable for the tow hook.

What a bunch of skunks. Give them hell! It's been a good, long time since I've heard a dealer horror story - sorry that the first new one is yours.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems your having Pete. I hate it when people take shortcuts just to make an extra buck or two. Like what the others have mentioned - Take pictures, call Mazda Canada, write a letter to Mazda Canada with copies of your pics so you will have a black and white official report to lean back on, when things start hitting the fan. I hope their sales drop like a rock. Spread the word and make them hurt where it counts most folks. I hate it when people think they can take on the little guy. Go get'em Pete show them hell :D
