Burgundy RX8
I was driving in the highway yesterday (417 ottawa) and saw this absolutely amazing RX8 in dark red, burgundy colour. I can't find this colour on mazda.ca. I doubt it was a cutom paint. Anyone know if this is a new colour and why it isn't an option on mazda.ca's build your RX8 site?
Thanks

Thanks. That's it, that's the car I saw.
So if I want the Copper Red colour I have to buy the special edition at $2000 more?
... Meanwhile, people in US can just choose Copper Red as another colour. Not to mention other colours like Phantom Blue. And also get to pick the interior colour accents too. Anybody know why Mazda treats Canadians so poorly?
Is anyone from Mazda Canada on these forums that we can complain too?
Thanks... very frustrated.

the SE is only ~ $850 more than the GT, which I think is a pretty good deal since you get all the little things like Alcantara seats, leather bin cover, piano black wood finish on the steering wheel, polished rims, rotary accents... etc etc and since there are only 180 ( roughly) in canada the resale value should be a little better?
I agree its not fair how US get so many more options than us, but on the other hand I dont think they care about us canadian too much, they probably sell more Cars in LA alone than all of Canada combine .

I see your point, that does start to sound more reasonable.
So is this SE the same as Shinka in US? I read in another thread (here) that because of the extra weight of the shocks and crossmember the Shinka loses some of its performance, as shown by the dyno test.
Probably negligible, but still...
