Calgary meet on March 12 @ 1pm
Most of you know about this meet already ... the one where we hijacked Nubian's rx7 meet thread.
Anyways, those of you in the Calgary area, we are having a meet at Hooter's on Macleod Tr S on March 13 @ 1pm. We're planning on meeting up in the parking lot out front before going in for grub. If you're late just ask for the RX8 table. It'll be good times!

stay off the gas..its for your patients....that probably explains why you think the blue cars are faster than the V-Red's..it just seems that way once you're gassed up! :D

weather update:
Sat PM
6C
POP 20%
Variable cloudiness
wind NW 20 km/h
That's not too hard to take at this time of the year- even though it is sunny and 15C now...

looks like these winds have pushed the snow and 0 deg to Monday now... Better for the weekend. but still only looking at 0 or 1 deg for the weeks highs. still not bad for winter. Have you seen what down east is having?

Ok guys ... this sounds like it's going to be a great turnout despite the rain today. Hopefully there will be clearskies tomorrow (for the sake of our Summer tire using friends ... keep that DSC ON!). I guess there will be a couple of "outsiders" with S2Ks and such. It's all good!
Anyhoo, in case you guys didn't Mapquest the location yet. Here's a link to the Hooter's website with the address and maps. It's the south store in case you guys are wondering.

See y'all tomorrow!

And the Meet has happened
first meet of 2005 for the RX8 Club, nice to meet some of you. Others good to see you again. (next time better have that repair done....)
Not a bad day if it wasn't for the cool wind. Here are some pics..
also just hit 10000 on our way into the parking lot... looks like it may be time for a trade in..... (Ha,) Just worn in... not worn out.

So I get up this morning getting ready to go to the meet....
I look outside my window and I see little white flakes smacking my car, so I decide to not risk it and skip it thinking it will mostly likely get worse than better and I don't wanna risk getting caught with my summer tires.
3.5 hours later, the weather has not gotten worse, it has actually gotten better!
Now, I'm just kicking myself I didn't go!!
Conclusion: I'm sorry I missed the meet!! The pics look great! Sounds like you guys had a good time!
