Admiral 8, we missed you buddy. We reserved a spot for you ... right by the silver 8s. Far far away from the rest of us, cuz we know about your parking skills. ha ha.
It was a shame that we didn't get any black or yellow 8's out today. The snobs. Kidding.
Anyhoo, just adding a couple more pics for your viewing pleasure. Oh, in case you're wondering, starting from left to right:
Rotten42, BlueFrenzy, KHTM, Lamfc, Buddman, Pixel8 and HardBody
Note the pic with KHTM trying to ward us away. He's saying "Stay away! Don't look at the damage on my rear! Don't look at me! Hiss!"

Oh another thing guys ... here's the link for polishing the OEM rims to get a little of that bling factor. It's actually inexpensive to do it. I'm thinking of doing it seeing as that my OEM rims are not on the car.

While you guys were out having fun, I managed to get a '05 RX-8 today! It'll take 4-8 weeks for the car to come in. It looks like I'll have to wait till the next meet to show the you guys the HyperRev book. Anyway, after 3 attempts, I finally got the car I've wanted since '02! Damn, it better be worth the trouble!

I was looking forward to getting out with you guys. Unfortunately I worked till 700 Sat. morning and couldn't drag myself out of bed. Hope there will more opportunities in the future to hook up. Right now its 600 am and I'm wondering how the drive home will be since there is a few inches of snow and I don't have winter tires. Thanks for posting the pics and I'll see you at a future meet.

Very nice lunch!
Yes, it was a very nice lunch indeed. Very nice and very pleasant people. I enjoyed myself, but at the end I had to get home to pick up the truck and the wife and head off to Home Depot for baseboards and casings before it closed.
I indeed look forward to the next time we meet again!
I should have brought my camera as well, as the cell phone one turned out some poor quality pics [IMO].

Rotten, is that your VR with stock rims? Tell me you have winter tires on that puppy!
BTW, its a proven fact that VR is faster tham Blue for those of you that were thinking otherwise.

Just noticed "y'all" (except for the sharp VR at the front) have the clear corners!!! I guess they sell them at Hooters!? j/k They look great by the stock VR still rules.
All the 8's from Calgary and to Toronto should hook up one day this summer. We can meet half way in St. Catherines, Ontario.

1/2 way....not
I think the clear corners are a must on the blue and titanium cars but I don't mind the stock cortners on the red cars.

Crap, I missed it! Well I'll just keep my eyes a little more open (I haven't been keeping up in the Canada forum ... looks like I should). I'll try to make it the next time. A Peters' Drive In (a former employer from way back) would be a great spot :-)

We had one at Peter's 3 days before the Hooters gathering, (invited by another club - they wanted to see the 8) only 1 - 8 showed, but it was a good nite.
We'll do it again, after the snow is gone.
