Its called premix because its supposed to be mixed in the gas.

The answer to your question (and I understand your hesitation) is YES.

4oz in the gaz tank, then fill with 50L.

If your on a half tank, put 2oz. Simple

And you dont have to be all scared about exactly 4oz etc... you can go up to probably 8oz, though its not necessary without any neg effects.

I just fil up gaz line anti-freeze bottles with about 4oz of Amsoil Saber Pro. Works great.

SE3P .. Dude .. he is not recommending 8oz. He is merely trying to settle your paranoid attitude with respects to premix'n.
Honestly you need to either settle down and do some more reading and less asking or not do anything at all and drive it like the dealer recommends.

So here is some of my history with premixing.
My car is an 05 and that summer I ran it hard.
I had read the premix threads which at that time where still relatively young. I just used a high quality 2 stroke snowmobile oil premixed at 100:1
Then I got tired of premixing, it is really a pain in the *** IMO.

So then I get back on the band wagon again and use some 2 stroke again, paying absolutely no attention to what kind.
I've also by mistake (and I'm afraid to admit this) added regular oil . I just wasn't paying attention, both bottles where in my trunk I was in a rush and I grabbed the wrong one at the pumps.
Then I stopped premixing again.

Then my car went on "the juice" diet and I started premixing again for a short while.

Now there is a new flash out there again that addresses the OMP along with the discussions about the new Rensis motors having a 3rd oil injector.

My car is still running fine, even after putting regular oil in the gas and using whatever type of 2 stroke oil.

So where am I going with all this verbal diarrhea?
I don't f'n know? But I do know there are people on this forum that know a **** tonne more than me (which is quite evident from this crappy post), so you really need to spend some quality soak time reading their posts.
In the end however, and this my opinion, nobody really knows for sure. You have to come to piece with yourself with either follow a particular forum members solution or the dealers solution.

But remember, you roll the dice you take ya chances, mate.

To sum things up, depending on what type of premix you decide to use here is what I can think of that might go wrong. (No particular order)
1) Fuel filter, and fuel pump too I think. I'm not sure how, but I think I read it somewhere. So there I have to go check some **** out too.
2) Cat
3) Spark Plugs
4) Injectors?
5) Engine - however I would speculate that this would be long term.

I'm going to shut-up now and go out and buy some extra-extra-extra virgin olive oil to premix with. I read somewhere that the natural long molecule chains will help clean the carbon from my apex seals. Not to mention how good the exhaust will smell... mmmmm Italian cooking

cheers

EEEEEKKK
No the premix goes in the gas tank, or you can premix in to portable fuel container and add it in to the gas tank.

I would just like to add a bit more clarity to this question.

600:1 or 400:1 or 100:1 or 1:1 are unit less ratios

So it does NOT matter if you are measuring in litres, gallons, or lbs as long as you use the same unit of measure for both numbers in the ratio

For example

100 lbs or bannas to 1 lb of apples
or
100 gallons of fuel to 1 gallon of oil
or
100 litres of fuel to 1 litre of oil

furthermore because metric is base 10 you can easily say

100,000 ml of fuel to 1000 ml of oil
so to get a 100:1 premix with a 50 litre tank simple divide by 2
50,000 ml of fuel to 500 ml of oil

200:1

would be 50 litres of fuel to .250 litres (250ml) of oil

400:1

50 litres of fuel to .125 l (125ml) of oil

Yeah, it goes in the gas tank.

Use about 4-5 oz per tank if your car is stock and have no modifications to the OMP.

Im currently using Saber Pro, but I gave Amsoil a call and they said both Saber Pro and Interceptor are safe for catalytic converters.

Interceptor has more cleaning agents (a plus for us).

I could only find the Saber Pro in bike shops for like 16$ a quart.

However interceptor I found at Canadian tire for 10$ a quart. I'll be going with that in a few tanks once Im done with the Saber pro.

BTW, Im also adding 2 oz of Lucas UCL, however I dont think its necessary with Interceptor.

no problemo

Its hard for us canadians to find what we need sometimes.
Im glad CT caries this.

BTW, if you have a newer bigger CT in your area I would go there. Some smaller older ones dont carry every product.
