Jeison - You've got ***** to teach someone how to drive standard on your 8. Not so much the potential damage to your gears but if she stalls......I've had such an issue with not being able to start after flooding that the thougth of stalling scares the hell out of me. It's why I don't even dare to use my remote start in the winter.
Good luck with the de-flooding precedure in future. It has never worked for me when it's cold and it seems the more you try the deeper you dig yourself in.
Definitely take her to the dealer for the no-start when hot.
A few questions/clarification from those who know.....
- I was told after the last recall where check commpression/reflash that my 04MT does not need an upgrade starter or battery because ALL Candians cars comes with it already. This doesn't sound like what you guys are saying.
- I thought Mazda does not make an oil pan heater for the 8. Can you confirm and advise where I can get one that would fit.

1- Charge the battery
2- Take out the fuse 20A ( fuel pump)
3- Crank the car for 6 seconds , and wait 10 until trying again.
4- Repeat "3" a couple more times.
5 - Put the fuse back in.
6- Try starting agian.
