I think they look nice - but they really beg for a splitter or center section of a lip to complete the look. Where did you pick them up?

Im not a big fan, but maybe if they were molded into the bumper it would look better.

I agree with this 100%. Though honestly, i love the way it looks in a direct front view.

Updated pictures...






Here's the list of mods done this summer...
Electric Blue accent trims, brake calipers & lug nuts
Veil G4 Stealth lights front & rear
Plasti-Dip oem wheels + reflective paint, electric blue Mazda emblem on center caps
Carbon fiber canards & eyelids

Daily driver from march to november with 20 000km since remaned installed free of any charges by Mazda Canada last summer...

Love the ride!

I personally like it. It goes very well with the color of the car and its not something that stands out and makes it look like a rice upgrade.

The Canards & Eyelids are well aligned vertically and the carbon glossy finish of both mix pretty good with the mag wheels finish i manages to get from the reflective paint...

My car has a distinct & unique look from all the other series1 8, i think it's closer to the R3 nose this way...

At night though, the wheels light up & its a whole new story!

I'm not worried about that....they won't reflect much more than chrome wheels...
