So no one cares whether you want to see the cheque or not at the event? Could save a trip for me if I just directly send the money over to sick kids.

Just send the cheque! I think everyone trust you, by the response. Do we still need to meet tomorrow night or just get everyone to meet at the registration trailer by 11:00 am?

Ok, just got off the phone with 01racing. He actually wasn't aware of the situation as to why I won't be there on Sunday. But it's all clear now.
After the discussion, it's been decided that a cheque will be given to 01racing on the day off for everyone to see.
So tomorrow, our meeting is still on at Tim's, I'll give you the cheque to give to Al on the day of, and go through some short stuff... 5 minutes max.

The Mitsubishi EVO will be there as the lead car and the passenger seat will be auctioned off on-site to the highest bidder. Starting at $20. There will be 2 sessions (one session for experienced, one session for novice). Which means the seat is available two times to two different people. This also means that even if you're driving in the experienced session, you can still get a chance to sit in the lap by winning the bid on the seat in the novice session and vice versa.
01racing is a very experienced racer and you will definitely learn a lot just by riding in his car watching the lines, the footwork, and of course 01racings constant in-car ramblings *ahem* wisdom, hahahahah

We will have an auction to ride in the passenger seat of the EVO. The bidding starts at $20.00 and the 2 highest bidders will get the rides. We will do this Sunday when we pregrid in the usual area. The highest overall bidder will get the advanced group ride, the 2nd highest bidder will get the noivce group ride.
I will be at the new registration trailer at Mosport oops I mean Canadian Tire Motorsports Park by 10:15 am on Sunday so we can get organized from there.

Be at the track by 10:45 a.m. Go to the Registration Trailer at the main entrance, which is on your right as you enter. Sign your waiver and proceed to the paddock marked by the X on the map posted. There will be a driver meeting before assembly in the pits.

Spoke with BEMC guys this am when they picked up the EVO. Our 1st group will be out as soon as the track closes for lunch and the marshalls come in. The last 3 words were quite important, there will be no marshalls when we are out. If you have a problem pull off line and go to the pits right away, dont try and keep up or hope its get better. A couple of important things to remember when you are out especially in the advanced group. I am going to try to keep up a good brisk pace. What usually happens is I have to go slow on the back straight to group everyone together, we cannot have cars with more than 2 or 3 car lengths apart. The EVO should be capable of 200+ kmh on the straight, so its up to the cars behind me how fast I go. Once the car behind slows by more then 3 car lengths the pace will slow until we group back together. If we are quick and organized each group should get about 15 - 20 minutes of track time. You guys decide who goes 1st, novice or advanced but I need to know asap on Sunday. As soon as the 1st group leaves the starting grid, the 2nd group will come and line up so that when the 1st group comes off the track, I can drive through and pick up group 2 right away.

My car is still in getting camber and caster alignment cams and bushings replaced ... it will be ready to roll tomorrow morning according to the shop... I will be very tight on time getting to the gate.

I'm in if you or anyone else wants to cruise in we can arrange a start meet point and time and cruise down together. We just ought to make sure to give ourselves time and leave at the determined time sharp.
