Clear corners for Signals

I obviously missed something as I thought that my soon to be clear corners were actually signals for turns as they were on my protege 5. I'm driving away from work and notice in the glass that my amber corners are on with the lights so I stop. I think to myself if the corners are on with the lights what happens as they signal, so I proceed to signal and notice they do not flash. I'm thinking WTF?!!?

So, the question is, once I get my clear corners is there something I can do with the wiring to make them into turn signals as well? I don't understand why they are not in the first place or why some Mazda vehicles have them and the 8 doesn't.

I'm more curious then anything, guess I was surprised they didn't blink for signals. You are right, the car looks great as it is!!

The Australian spec cars blink with the turn signals..... so you should be able to wire them up at a good auto electrician.
