^great vids man! BTW did you have your DCS turned off? Looks like it, you won't usually spin like that if it's on.

As soon as I finished turn 3 in 2nd, I full throttled till just before the double apex still in 3rd hard brake and I think a little wider line than some others as I think I was braking a bit later too, but tried for a smooth one constant turn and tried to focus on coming close to the last apex concrete markers so you are set up for turn 7. But you come in really hot for turn 7. I never down shifted in turn 7 to 2nd to have a greater pull coming out. I was losing speed there for sure. Also, some ppl were doing the double apex in 2nd, but I never did that as it seemed like the wrong gear for it and too much slowing down for it.

I think for me, looking back at it now, slowing down a bit (100-105) in the double apex for a better line down 7 and in 2nd gear might have actually overall got a better lap time. But it's so fun to see how fast you can take that turn lol.

Thanks for the vids - it's Andrew right? Nice hearing that you too had a Swift GTi - that was my first new car in '89, all 1800 pounds of go kart. ...Rui

A guy with a Lambo LP640 proved that you can still crash at Shannonville with all the drivers aids still active, thats what happens when you take the end of the backstraight flat lol. If you guys pick a different night or weekend I will come out and instruct if you wish
Which weekend for you Al? Let us know...

I wanna sit in your Tundra for the track

Corrected

Now that I'm tuned and have a working fuel pump, I'm up for a track day at sometime in August.

I'll see Al's Tundra, and raise him one 390hp/410torque Ram rolling on 275/20's...we'll call it battle of the rednecks...wait, he has way more talent than me...nevermind.
