I cannot agree more Footman. I live in Richmond, BC, also am a Chinese, but man ~ ~ ~ I hate those Corolla Chinese "happy auntie" drivers ... they normally have both hands tightly grabbing the steering wheel, distance between their chests and their steering wheels must be less than 2 inches. Drive around 40km/hr constantly ... do not response to horn ... what makes it worse is that ... sometimes they even have their cell phone on ...

I am almost too afraid to comment on this.
We also have the "chinese woman" driver situation in Winnipeg, with the exception being that the cars are usually Honda Civics.
I brought this up, along with a reference to our wonderfull cab drivers (which a large number of cabbies being of a certain ethnic background), on the canadiandriver.com forums.
I was blasted and flamed beyond belief, and called a racist white boy.
These were the same people that thought I was ignorant by painting most car dealers as crooks.
I do not post at canadian driver anymore.

Not a corolla, but it's bigger brother the Camry. My wife and I nearly got runned down by this road raged Camry driver at night. We were on a traffic light, he was on the merging lane which means his lane will end after the light. I wasn't even gonna contend, if he beats me off the light then sure I'll be happy to stay behind.
When the light turned green, he didn't move, so I made my way across the intersection. After the intersection, we presumed he was going to tuck behind us like any common courtesy driver. But next we know we hear this loud engine sound from our right side and he was running at the end of the merge and onto the shoulder to cut us off! I was mad, and blasted my horn at the Camry. But didn't want to risk and accident as it is clear he was mad that somehow we were ahead. I was pissed that it was uncalled for. But nevertheless no point in returning the rude and dangerous gesture.

Corolla drivers are the same here in Southern California! I hate them with a passion! They always think that they should be cruising in the passing lane on the freeway at 60 MPH. They have no idea where they are going and will dart across 3 lanes of traffic to make a turn rather than bust a U-Turn at the next intersection. They take like 30 seconds to actually change lanes after signaling and when they do they do it like they avoiding a tree in the road.
This all seems to hold true for 75% of Corollas I see on the road.
I have no respect for Corolla drivers. Idiots and their f'in toasters!

Corollas?
No... not corollas in particular. However, living in BC, I live next to SURREY.
SURREY: - The average car is not corolla (probably out of most peoples price range) The average car is the Cavalier - the average sports car is also a Cavalier, but it's not a sports car! - so try telling that to all the cavalier drivers who insist their cavalier is a challenge for our RX8s!!
It's like I'm entering a fish bowl where cavalier people's attention span extends about a block or two - because they challenge me over and over. I beat these people in races every single time. It's not like, woops I'm not paying attention, just my average spirited driving is going to put them in my rear mirror, but time and time again again I hear the screams of a little cavalier engine barking in my rear view mirror... sigh.
I hate you Cavalier drivers! all of you, you wasting my gas! you will never get me! never! Surrey Cavalier jerks!
Don't ever drive to Surrey, you'll be Sorry.
Thanks, I needed that.

It's amazing if you're looking for it.
If a line of cars is being held back by someone driving slow - It's a Corolla
If someone is driving slow in the fast lane - It's a Corolla
If you're waiting in a long line at the car wash and some driver is too stupid to figure out how to enter the wash code and holds up the whole line for ages - he drives a Corolla.
All these observations have been in the last two days!

That's so JOKES, I've been blessed recently not to be stuck around Corollas. However, I have been actively avoiding them.. i.e. if goes in front of me, I have been switching to another lane EVEN IF IT's slower, hoping that it may become faster later on....

Cavaliers and Neons (or next gen SRT or whatever the hell Dodge decided to rename them). Everywhere! These are the ones I get that come screaming up beside me with some kid (not to insult any young individual that may or may not have an 8) revving the crap out of his engine and then taking off showering me with gravel.
I get a little peeved when a chip appears in my paint and or glass due to complete ignorance such as this. What to do, what to do?
Lose the DSC, take off and pass, punch it and what happens?
Rooster tail of snow/slush/gravel... point made. I win.
I also find alot of minivan drivers dont have a clue. Of how to drive or otherwise. I get alot of dirty looks from the middle aged heavy set woman on her phone with her 2.5 kids in the back as she passes me and flips me off.. for what? Doing only 4 over the speed limit? Minding my own?
Sigh. I would hate my 44km commute SO MUCH if I wasnt doing it in my 8
Edit.. I also wanted to add I have read this thread before, and just the other day saw the gold/tan Corolla that has been spoke of in the ditch on its side... I decided to comment

Last week when I was driving my parents in their Mazda MPV, saw a (yep, u guessed it) gold/tan Corolla almost causing an accident right in front me, and could quite possibly caused other cars to hit me as well.
The story is, I was going to drive the car across a main street (from entrance to entrance). As there are cars going in both directions, I need to time my start or else i would wait indefinitely. So there were no cars coming on the adj lane, and there will be no cars coming on the opposite lane after that Corolla and the Volvo that was behind it. So I started my crossing.
When my car got to the middle of the two lanes, the Corolla driver realized that she just missed the entrance and out of all the possible options that she can perform, she decided to slam on the brakes and performed a dead stop in the middle of the road. The Volvo behind was two inches from crashing into the back of the Corolla HARD. Worse yet, now that the two cars are blocking the entrance, I am stuck in the middle of 2-way traffic and cars are approaching from both directions.
Luckily after like FIVE LONG SECONDS, the Corolla decided to enter the mall on the wrong side of the entrace (separated by a traffic island), and the Volvo moved forward, so I could enter the mall.
Keep this topic rolling guys, lol.
