Crossing the border with N2O

I'm wanting to head into the US with a bottle of Nitrous.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Good
Bad
No problem
Oh wait you need to get this certificate?

As usually trying to call customs is killing me....
anyone?

I'd be more worried about driving with it in Ontario to begin with.

Ummm yeah I agree.
But at the border they may look in your trunk.

In Ontario if your not doing anything then your all good.
But I hear you Wulf...

Of course I just merely curious about the law .. that's all....

I would want to know too...

I guess you can always rip it out before you cross?

or, close the cap, and say it's for the track if they ask you?

I would do that. Still risky and may not work but I can't think of anything else...

If they check the trunk you won't be able to get into america or get back into ontario if they check your trunk on the way back in. I can guarantee you that it would be classified as hazardous material and you would need to file all of the paper work involved in transporting that type of hazardous material. Definatly not worth the time and hassle, I would just take the bottle out.

I'll try call customs again today and I never thought about coming back into Canada.
I'll call them as well.

Stay tuned.

Just cover up the N20 symbols with "5W-20 OIL" and if they ask, tell them that it is an RX-8 and needs constant oil from the pressurized bottle.
