No rx-8's interested? The rx-7 club guys are all over this!!
Time attack & drift completely sold out. Last event we had one very fast Rx-8 come out run 1:20's, a very respectable time.

1:19 is an awesome time! Car is awesome, that's from personal experience =)
(sorry about the oil cooler vent)
Curious though, if you used street tires would you qualify for SR instead of SSR?

That would be me and my RX-8 project (built for Modified Mag, where I work). Actually did a 1:19 in testing on different tires, but could only manage a 1:20 on the Hankook TD's. Always good fun at these CSCS events -- great crowds, good group of competitors, and the new timing system with live updates on the web is pretty awesome.

Yup yup, would qualify for SR if I ran on street tires. Might do that next year on the new Dunlop Star Spec replacements, though I'm also thinking about running slicks in Unlimited just because I want to go fast With some Pirelli 245/620-17 P-Zero slicks on 17x9 wheels the car would probably go 1:18s or 1:17s in its current form and I have some ideas this winter about making more power (forced induction, maybe...20B swap, maybe...)
