Dealers fixing brake problem
Has anyone had their brake problem fixed (either noise or rotor) after 12 months or 20000KM? I got this BS from the dealer saying they only cover 12 months - 20000KM which ever come first.

Did you take in a printout of the Technical Service Bulliten for the brakes? Lost of people have gotten resistance/static from dealers, but many have eventually gotten service by taking in the printed TSB or by going to another dealer.
I'm sure I've read about higher mileage service for noisy brakes, especially in certain VIN ranges. Search out squeaking or squealing brakes.

I've had mine replaced twice...and I let the dealer know that if it happens again I'll be back. The second time it was at 24,000kms. At firts they didn't want to do it the second time. I told them that I was fine with that and I would be writting a letter to Mazda. I then got a couple a couple of hours later from the dealer asking me when I wanted to bring the car in.

I'm not 100% sure about Mazda, but I'm pretty sure that the US TSBs don't apply to Canadian cars; the Canadian dealers, however, are happy to look into the problem and charge it to Mazda, since the evidence that a problem exists is there. With our Honda, it was a bit of an issue, but most of the Honda dealers would take care of the TSB issues.

today I went to Prima Mazda but they didn't do anything with my brake noise problem. they said nothing can do much with this problem if they change me the new parts of brake and then will happen again. What I have to do? Please!

insist that they change them. If they don't tell them you will contact Mazda directly to discuss the issue.

I just got the shaft at Mazda Gabriel in Montreal when they changed my brake pads. They did my rotors and charged me 144 bucks without asking me first. I couldn't complain when I went to get my car because it was after office hours and only the cash was open. I will still write a letter. I had 12K kms, and it was after 2 years.
They will lose over 144 bucks worth of my business, for sure. That place is not trustworthy.
