I didn't back out on bowling, I was there! I just didn't bowl. I never said I was going to bowl.

Work training schedule conflicted I just found out now.

 

Damn - sorry to screw with the plan, but on the weekend my son says he wants to go, then somehow gets my cousin, his son, my dad and father in law to sign on. Right now it looks like I'll have a full car, unless that changes.

If we might want to take the bus, I heard today that you can buy your show tix at the bus terminal...$19 for return bus plus auto show.

 

The bus idea is great but the Shawarma Palace is the one to go to.

Yep, that's how we did it before. And it'll be the way we'll do it this time around as well.

Can't wait to see some of these new models in the flesh. There are more than a few models I'm interested in.

Not to ruin the fun but I just got back. If you like cars and know something about them, the show is not that great. The 918 is gone (the only car I really wanted to see) - was there only for the press days. No real concepts, lotus is not there. Ferrari only had the 458 - which is on the road for a while now. I did not expect much but this was below par, pretty much like going to every showroom.

 

It's probably still better than last year.
For the T. guys, pm me and I will give you my # so we can meet up.

I mostly like the Autorama. I put my bicycle in the show.

 

I'm basically going to check out some "real" vehicles. Having the concepts there is an added bonus, but not the main objective.
If I wanted to check out "exotics" I would go to Mosport. There I'll be able to get up close and personal without a thousand people crowding around and getting in the way.
