Don't Tell My GF......
The mod bug has bitten me
I started off small, just clear corners and rotary accents. But if she found out I was spending money on this car.....before I even got it yet.....oh....man....

hahah...
You should start off with the things which will make a noticable difference in that case... like exhaust and the intake... if you drive around for awhile stock... then you put that on.. she's gonna be able to tell that something was done

she hates loud cars too so when I make it louder she is going to hate it. I thought about the intake before I pick it up, but I haven't found one yet I amready to buy.

I am The One!
I must be one of the few fortunate people who's GF loves the way the car sounds. She hates "normal" cars!
I'd say, if you don't mind alienating your GF more, get the upgrades. Even with the upgrades the 8 isn't that loud. Just ask Pros about it. He even went as far as putting a midpipe. Even then the car still wasn't as loud as mine.
If however your GF has a very big say in your transportation, I would run it by her first. Just in case...

Power!!
She will not get better as your relationship progresses unless you tell her how it is. I'm sure she spends money on crap you don't understand. Tell her if she doesn't like you spending money on car stuff to return the $300 purse and $400 shoes that hurt her feet or shaddup!!

Not going to happen, I lost them over 3 years ago
This is kinda the point I should have made in my original post. She will be the wife soon. We are saving to buy a house first, then I went out and bought the car. It didn't go over well. A concession I made was "well, I won't mod this one" haha.....
I don't know who you have been dating but she doesn't spend money like that. She is the resonable one with the cash. I'm the one who blows it at about a 50/50 mix of useful and useless crap.
And yeah, I would rather not be single so I could mod my car openly, then have her and mod my car in secret.

Not telling her when you're saving for a house is not fair. If this is really something you want to do, you need to sit down and talk to her and tell her it's "your thing"... make a plan with the money. If you're serious about getting married, then you need to discuss this with her. Otherwise, you're starting out with hiding things and that's only going to cause problems in the long run.

everytime when she sees me looking up car stuff online, shes always like" again???". however, everytime when she intends to walk in holtrefrew when shopping, i started to be a bitch like" again???so stop telling me to not spend money on what i like"
