DRLs and e-brake

Just picked up my 8 on Saturday... loving it. Aside from the lack of floormat bracket there's one other thing I've noticed:

The DRLs go off when you engage the e-brake (all well and good), but I've found that the switch seems very sensitive. ie: if I release the brake handle normally (put it down all the way) I can get the DRLs to flick on and off just by nudging the handle.

Has anyone else seen this? It could be a temperature issue (quite chilly the last couple of days, e-brake seems a wee bit stiff).

Can't help on the e-brake (I never played with it much last year), but the car should have a floor mat restraint. Is the gromet (however you spell that) in roughly the center of the back edge of the mat, or way off on the left side? If it's on the left, tell the dealer to get you the replacement mat.
If it's in the center, ask the dealer what they did with the restraint.
