English only displays
I just picked up my car today.
One thing I noticed, at least on mine, is that several displays in the gauge area are english only, no french.
Examples are "DSC OFF", "CRUISE MAIN", etc.
On other cars in Canada, these phrases are replaced with cryptic symbols. Is my car unique? It looks like it was built to be sold in the USA.

I have owned several Mazdas... all of them used words for such things as the cruise master switch. My Honda currently has "cruise main" on the cruise master switch: it is a 2002. So don't be startin' another language signage problem!!
...And no, that car was actually built for me :D

Mine says it in english only as well! YEAH!
Although I have no TSC, Cruise Main was there.
How much did you drive it yesterday? I'm up to 100Km on my trip odometer and it's down a 1/4 tank of gas!

All my cars were english only (cruise, switches etc). Even the "PQ" couldn't force the manufacturers to "translate" the car:p
I think that's a good think after all, that's a good way to learn English .... and it can even save you a ticket if you're willing to go to the Supreme Court....... "Us, Quebecers" could explain to the judge that we thought that "cruise control" was a special switch that automatically adjust the speed of the car to the speed limit of the road.
Since it's only written in English... it's insconstitutionnal :D
